For me it would have to be Orange World and Other Stories by Karen Russell. She has such a way of taking a normal story and just tilting into the bizarre, and yet keeps such humor and heart into each.

Educated just blew me away. I have recommended it to so many people. And just let me thank you for this summer reading program. It got me back into reading--after a long period of trying. I had NO idea there was a prize at the end of this. I enjoyed it so much. thank you again.
