Now that summer is ending, is there a book that really blew you away this summer? THE book of the summer for you?

Mine was "The Overstory" by Richard Powers

For me it would have to be Orange World and Other Stories by Karen Russell. She has such a way of taking a normal story and just tilting into the bizarre, and yet keeps such humor and heart into each.

Educated just blew me away. I have recommended it to so many people. And just let me thank you for this summer reading program. It got me back into reading--after a long period of trying. I had NO idea there was a prize at the end of this. I enjoyed it so much. thank you again.
