It's nomination time for the December read! December's theme will be Cozy Mystery. Please nominate up to two classic mysteries that are at least 50 years old and were written by a woman.

Please indicate if you are willing to lead the discussion for the books you nominate. I will take nominations up to October 20th and the poll will run from October 21st to the 31st.

I nominate Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express.

If anyone else has another Agatha Christie book they'd like to nominate my nomination does not preclude anyone else from nominating another of her works. :) Just a fyi.

message 3: by Karlyne (new)

Karlyne Landrum Brat Farrar by Josephine Tey is another good one!

No problem. The book will be included in our poll on the 21st and we'll see if it wins. Are you interested in leading the discussion if it does?

Whose Body? by Dorothy L. Sayers. This is the first Lord Peter Wimsey. I can lead.

The second book is The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie.

I second this and would love to lead the discussion if you don’t want to :)

I second Roger Ackroyd too. (Haven’t read Dorothy Sayers, I’m afraid.)

Oops, I took the time to request that people state whether or not they would lead the discussion and it turns out even I didn't do it. xD Sorry, guys!

I can lead the discussion for the book I nominated.

I have to say maybe, depending on how intense and time demanding the work in the Kierkegaard course I'm taking gets.
