I'm Definitely a Madman With a Box discussion

I'm watching right now and I'm not sure if I like this Doctor very much. I mean I love Capaldi but I don't like how he's so...careless. What happened to "900 years of time and space and I've never met any one who was not important."? And he's become so reckless like he doesn't care if he can actually save anyone at all. It bugs me, I know at the end of the episode he will save everyone he can but it's during the episode I don't like him very much. I like his character, I like the actor and I do like his personality most of the time. It's just when he acts like he doesn't care if they live or die, it makes me sad because he used to care so much.

Yeah I guess but usually he doesn't even have a plan. Like this episode Macy I think her name was, the Doctor had no idea if he could save her and he told Clara to lie to her anyway.
