Amazing Worldbuilding for the 9th Book. I still cannot believe this book belongs in the Slog. I enjoyed reading it the entire way through. I love the characters development in this book. The interactions and payoff are insane. So many plots tied together so well. So many things explained. I love it!
Ok, book 9 gave me so much infos. Based on the interactions between the Forsakens at the last scene, Demandred is not Mazrim Taim because Demandred had no idea who Flin was. However, I think Mazrim must be a Forsaken because he knew Dashiva is Aginor. It had to be that because Mazrim got pretty mad when Rand randomly picked out Dashiva in book 7. Moridin is definitely Ishamael. How is Ishamael getting so many resurrections out of all the Forsakens without any punishment? He has failed more than all of them together. Didn't he die 3 times in the first 3 books? Somehow, the Dark One let him control both Lanfear and Moghedien after failing THREE times in a row. Not only that, the Dark One gave him Naeblis. What's going on? Failures are getting rewarded for Ishamael. The Dark One is an idiot. Arangar/Halima is still a mystery. Osangar is Dashiva = Aginor. Cyndane is Lanfear. Man, I love Moghedien. She's just a coward to the bone, a true spider. So many things are answered. Something confuses me tho. Why did Verin help Rand still? Isn't Verin a Black Ajah? Elza helped Rand because maybe the Dark One/Moridin ordered her to keep Rand alive? Verin is still a mystery. Is she a Darkfriend or not? She called the "Forsakens" as Forsakens instead of "Chosens" like other Darkfriends/Black Ajah. Did I miss something?
