In chapter 22, Hazel thinks "My old man. He always knew just what to say." What is your sense of her father? Does he come across as a really strong character, or does his conversation with her surprise you?

Aurora | 7 comments The conversation he has with Hazel doesn't surprise me, you kinda see it coming. A quiet character in a story that doesn't talk much always ends up giving good advice or saying something really really good. I guess you can say he does come off as a strong character because whenever he does talk he says something really smart that ends up helping Hazel in the end.
