What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I read this book in middle school where this girl lived in an institute her whole life. She is treated harshly. This is because the population have found the answer to living forever, so children aren’t allowed except for the very few rich people. This girl does not have the thing that society considers her a person so she is put in the institute/prison like where she’s punished daily just for existing and taking resources. She’s a very good girl until a boy comes to the instiute and she doesn’t like him at first because he breaks rules. She might’ve had a butterfly beauty mark? It was a long time ago I don’t remember everything. But I think I’m the end she runs away and eventually get whatever makes her considered a person and There’s a sequel I think? I remember there was one scene where she got her period blood on the bed and had to use metal wool to clean it as punishment.
