Since I'm a bit of a sucker for lists of 'best of 2019' etc, just creating a thread to keep track of some recommendations from various thought leaders and maybe we can pick some holiday reading ideas from them.

Happy to find you all here! Just finished Pia-Maria Thoren’s Agile People. Easy to read, simply written, a good collection of resources to further deepen one’s knowledge and understanding of Agile and its potential in HR. Not the best book of all times surely, but good as a central resource to kick-off and keep you reading!
I couldn’t put Peter Drucker’s Effective Executive down! Best read of the year 2019, in the nick of time! Thanks so much Josh for introducing me to this book!
Hi, firstly I am new in this group, so nice to meet you everyone. I am not sure if the topic of how technology would change the labor market is included or not in this HR group, in case yes, I give advice to read “the future of employment: how susceptible are jobs to computarisation?” And the author are: Frey and Michael Osborn. I also want to say that, is not a book precisely is just a investigation/presentation in Oxford University, and is free to download. This text I found interesting to share in the hr point of view.
