Literally Dead Book Club discussion

Another group I’m in on here has local IRL meet-ups for their book club. Is that something to consider or are we in the realm of too soon to discuss setting something like that up?

I’m in Huntsville, AL, USA and I’d love to make some local friends with similar reading tastes. All the local book clubs read stuff I have no interest in or if it’s a book I want to read, it’s a teen group and this almost 40 year old lady can’t get with that. lol.

not sure where most people host book clubs but i bet most local libraries would have rooms for reserving so its public

I have the same issue as the original poster. A library in my county used to have a bookclub called "forever young" and it was YA reads and the book club was for 16+. I'm so sad they discontinued it!
