Interesting. Does the wife know about his identity disorder? How long ago did you read it? Can you remember anything else about the plot, characters, or location?Does he think his wife is having an affair or does it seem like that to the reader?
The wife knows about the disorder. He is living one life with her and another life without her, where he has a girlfriend. Even his personality is different. She loves him and wants all of him, so she starts having an “affair” with him. At the beginning of the book, the reader thinks that she’s cheating. But we find out tjat it’s her husband.
One of his personalities (don’t remember which) finds out that she has another man, not knowing that it’s himself.
I think her husband was a business man and the other him, was a mechanic(?), kind of a bad boy. I don’t remember much else. It was a great book and I want to reread it.
