So, I am reading the book I've got one question I am having a hard time making out who is Rachel and who is Magan?

Rachel is an alcoholic woman (in the train) whose spouse had betrayed her and gotten divorced. Megan and Tom were married,they were an ideal couple for Rachel. They bought a house near Rachel’s previous house. At the same time Megan was baby sitter of Her ex husband’s child.

it is confusing, tho, isn't it?

But it's worth it..
