Star Wars Book Club discussion

Hey gang!!
Happy March to you. Hope you're ready to dive into this month's book or are happily reading through any books that bring you joy...Star Wars or otherwise!!!

I did a little switching around since the Rise of Skywalker novelization isn't out till later in the month. I out Alphabet Squadron up on the block!!!

But as always, this is just a loose way of keeping the group reading together. There are many threads for books and more starting each week. So if you haven't seen one that you want to talk about, please feel free to start it up and get the ball rolling!!!

I'm just working through the timeline with all kinds of bumps along the way as new books are announced and the timeline changes!!

Great idea, it's a good way of keeping the group moving.
Something i though was that if members are watching The Clone Wars season 7 or watched The Mandalorian we could discuss the episodes, or even the comic books. Just and idea, it's always gonna be a book club first but it's a good way of making people participate more.

Oh absolutely!!! I'm really focusing on books, but I love to see TV and movie threads too since it is a cohesive universe.

If anyone out there is down the comic book rabbit hole...then feel free to start that up too!! It's all worthy of discussion!!! :)

This gives me more time now to finish that I'm reading for the Sci-Fi and Fantasy group now! :)

I "read" Alphabet Squadron between last summer and this past January. Actually listened on audiobook and wonder if I should have used my eyes instead of my ears because I had trouble getting into the story or characters. It felt more like the back story for a novel than an actual novel. I'll have to consider whether or not I give it a shot the old-fashioned way.

But I'd love to read some discussion about it from the group to see if it heightens my appreciation for it either way.

You think the title for this post should be changed to the title of the book? Just to make it easier to find in the future for those who want to discuss it.
