Mary discussion

So i was told one fateful day to pick a horror novel, with a sub genre for me & my partner for an assignment, and i wanted to read this book but the librarian said that "we don't carry books that will make u wet your pants" so with that I HAD to read this book, but i don't think i feel the fear, what do u guys think about it and should this book have a sequel?

It gave me the heebee geebees. I cringed having to look in a mirror for days after reading this.

I didn't find it scary but I really enjoyed the horror aspect to it, so it made me want to keep on reading :)
