Hi everyone! I’m a huge Shadowhunters fan, so I would be interested to know what your favorite book or series is and why.

TDA, definitely

For now, Chain of Gold is my favourite by far. The characters and dynamics of the friend group are chef’s kiss and the plot was really, really good. I feel like the rest of the trilogy will become my favourite Shadowhunters series, but we’ll see!

TID is my favourite series because of Will and Jem, but TLH might just steal the spotlight........

OMG i love all the book though ive only read tid, tmi and tda!

i think i'm with the majority- TID is my fave! i adore the characters, and i feel like the love triangle was really well done- plus, the plot was much different than the other two (completed) series. i also just love historical settings, so....

though i will say that The Last Hours is impressing me! i think it is perfectly set up to be the fandom's new fave, since it's a followup of TID. we'll see!

evyone loves TID and I love it too all the characters as well and it's happening the same with tlh but TDA maybe more for the plot and some characters I loove it

I absolutely love The Infernal Devices. All the characters played an important role in shaping my personality and also each and every one of them left an indelible mark in my life.
I love how the relationship between Jem, Will and Tessa is portrayed.
I also love the series because of Consul Charlotte Fairchild.
She is honestly one of the most strong and inspirational women in all of the Shadowhunter books.

I also love the Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy. It made me feel immensely happy and joyful as I read the book and saw Simon's transformation. And at last, it broke me completely.
I can't say anymore about that book.

I love tid and tda and I just love tales from the Shadowhunter Academy and Ghosts of the shadow market

chain of gold was good but I just think Cassie should have made them talk rather than make them all keep secrets.. I loved it and enjoyed it but I'm waiting for the next two books!

I love all the books but I have a deep love for City Of Heavenly Fire, I've reread my favorite parts so many times! I've been reading books by Cassandra Clare actually just starting earlier this year but she's already my favorite author. I'm currently reading The Infernal Devices. I just finished the first book and I'm waiting for the 2nd one to come from Amazon, it's taking so long to come it's driving me crazy!

definitely tid. i feel like cassie's writing improved so much from tmi. plus i always kinda hated jace and clary, both as individuals and as a couple. always thought he was the classic bad boy, a toxic jerk and as for clary, she was every wattpad girl i've ever read about all in one. kinda basic. they were such sappy couple. i tried to make myself invested in their relationship, i really did. mostly because it was the main subject of the books, but i couldn't. bUT when i started reading tid, i immediately fell in love with wessa. they were like a new and improved clace that i could FINALLY enjoy reading about. so yeah will is the best hero dale. don't kill me for this please.

Lol these are my thoughts exactly! I was never a fan of Jace and Clary

Though during my reread, I'm starting to like Jace more due to his humor

At first I didn't like Jace and Clary either. They were too typical for a teenage romance, and though I still feel that way, months later after reading it they started to grow on me for some reason. However nothing can beat my love for Tessa and Jem. <3

I don't have a favorite. If I had to choose it would be City of Heavenly Fire. In most book series the last book is always my favorite. I just love the epic final battle.

i think im in the minority here but my favorite is TMI. But i love the entire shadowhunter chronicles with all my heart

I hate to pick I love them all, but maybe TID because I love the Victorian setting.

tmi is my favorite series. I love every character from tmi. my favorite book is City of Lost Souls :)

TID is my favourite series and my favourite books are Clockwork Princess, City of Heavenly Fire, Ghosts of the Shadow Markets and Chain of Gold

Hi there, I am a new member and a huge fan of the shadowhunters’ world. Even if I love every single book, my favorite serie is The Infernal Devices, i think it is the most complete, I mean it has a beginning and an end, and I just adore Will <3

So…. I read the first 3 books of TMI, then I read TID and now I am on City of Fallen Angels. With that being said, I absolutely LOVED TID!! It was truly amazing! I am team Will and Tessa all the way! I will finish the rest of the Shadowhunter chronicles and then I can truly say what is my favorite, but so far TID is my favorite!

Yeah TID is definitely the best series! Clary was just too blind to Jace for me to like her (going all “ooo have I looove you” even when he’s being a jerk)

I mean, I like Clary, she was okay, but not my favorite.

My favorite character right now is Cordelia 💙

Hello everyone, so I would say my favorite book would be Chain of Gold and the series would be The Dark Artifices. Even so....I love all the books in the Shadowhunter world.

That's understandable. I love all of the books in the Shadowhunter world too!

My favorite book is the city of glass because it just shows the purity of Jace and Clary's relationship! (Plus Simon is very funny)

My all time favourite TSC book series is definitely the infernal devices because i read it during a really hard time in my life (a family member was sick w cancer) and it helped me escape from the hellhole my life was at the time (btw for anyone asking the family member is healthy now and is living a good life and is happy). I also love tid because of herongraystairs. The Last Hours come at close second to tid.
