I adore South Riding! But it's pressed fairly indelibly on my mind, so for me, this year, I plan to read her other work.
I have The Crowded Street, Poor Caroline, The Land of Green Ginger, Mandoa, Mandoa!, and Anderby Wold.
I would definitely welcome any group reads of these books, perhaps after the South Riding group reads that?

It seems I might be alone in the South Riding group. I should be done with it by the end of February - would you be so kind as to wait for me until March-April with other works by Holtby?:)
Agreed - just keep us posted here when you finish South Riding and we can figure something out.
Hopefully by then someone will have expressed interest in a South Riding read with you! It's a phenomenal book.
