Way to go! Yes, even a fast series should take a break after about three books, I find. Maybe "Whirlwind" would have received higher marks and you would have enjoyed that it was 'nothing but world-jumping'. I went on an Annette Blair binge, whom I adore but even then needed to stop ODing on her. Then you love it when you go back.
