Wolf
They called him Wolf. Why? Perhaps it's his ferocious expression, always visible on his stone hard face. Or his slender, yet toned limbs that resembled those of a wolf's. Or the way he strutted around, his head held high, so confidently and solemnly, and airing a sense of arrogance at the same time. Or his observant, beady black eyes, always flickering around and taking in every single detail of their surroundings. One would say, though, that if someone were to meet the Wolf's gaze, they were sure to die. It's clear why most would want to avoid the Wolf's stare; it was icy and unforgiving and seemed to stare straight into a person's soul, as if they could see anybody's deepest fears and darkest secrets.
Ominousness hung clear in the air each time he appeared, and remained there long after he vanished, and everyone who had the misfortune to encounter him always drew back immediately in fear, watching silently as he passed by. It's not surprising that that happens, though. Wolf was one of the most feared assassins in the land, both outside and inside the Queen of Heart's fortress. He was an expert in the hierarchy of his profession, and his prodigious prowess in weaponry and combat set him apart as a person that should not be messed with. He moved around the land quietly, assassinating person after person for his mysterious 'sponsor'. Unlike Red Riding Hood, Wolf had only one sponsor. A supposedly rich and powerful man who had a lot of enemies he wanted to eliminate. Wolf was just that man to carry out those deeds for him. Albeit never having met, Wolf still does business with the man, traveling across the land and killing the targets he's sent after. Wolf kills, he gets paid. No questions asked.
And now he would be paid one of the largest sum of money in his entire career as an assassin. His next target would be the Queen of Hearts, one of the most respected and feared rulers in the land.

Thank you, Emmeline. :)
You're welcome. :) BUT - I'm going to say it once and I'm going to say it twice. I love this!!! And I love the element of competition! (This just keeps getting better and better!)
