While on the search for the winner of the lottery, and Rico's "fairygod granny", Rico and Zan have developed a relationship that I doubt they've even found out about. Her ask for help, has turned into a complete mission for the both of them, which I think she doesn't like. This foreshadows conflict in the story because Zan is popular, and rich, so this brings unnecessary attention to Rico, which she doesn't like because it's a bad look.
