The book is a compilation of journal entries by a man who writes for I believe about 40 years things that he finds interesting, pieces of conversation, interesting little incidents on the street, saw this in the past 3 or 4 years, I believe it was also published in that time as well (so 2016/17-now). I do not remember if it is autobiography or fictional biography.
