What did you like? Dislike?

Don't forget to read each book as your teen self!

Jill Henson | 22 comments 3.5/5 This was a pretty good read and had all your points of adventure, mystery, forbidden love, etc. but at times I found myself nodding off. Maybe I was just extra tired. It wasn’t one I stayed up at night with because I had to know what happened next but still, it was a pretty good one and I think most teens will enjoy it.

Anne Liebst | 12 comments I liked this book. Great story line. I found it hard to connect the chapter introductions to the chapter and at times even the story-- just too much going on. I also had a hard time with pronouncing character names, gods, cities, and other geography. Teens will make a connection to this for the romance, magic, and action. I will read the other books in the series. 4 out of 5.

Brandy Otto | 19 comments I personally did not enjoy this book. I don’t know what it was, but it just couldn’t hold my attention. I was constantly spacing out. 2.5/5

Tamara (tamarasan) | 8 comments 3/5 Dark and broody. The names were a bit hard to pronounce, but I did enjoy the world building. The book itself was pretty slow going. I can see where this may appeal to teens because the Bad Boy "I shouldn't like him but I do" vibe.
