a wrinkle in time, i found it really boring and i would have dnf-ed it, but i had to read it for my english class

☀︎El In Oz☀︎ (elinoz) Six of Crows or Anne Of Green Gables.

message 6: by Tessa (new)

Tessa (truenorthrecs) I think Fifty Shades of Grey still holds this mantle.

Aaron (aarons_books) | 2 comments Infinity son. Huge disappointment

Persephone6 (psychebooks) | 27 comments Maybe the Grapes of Wrath. I know its highly acclaimed but it just wasn't for me.

message 11: by ❀ Rose ❀ (new)

❀ Rose ❀ (rosebooks) | 9 comments Omg i could name so many books its not even funny. However i think that “la fille laide” wins this round. Its a french book and it was a HOT mess. I literally hated everything about it.

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

message 16: by D (new)

D (_daphne_) I think I have too many books to list here but the one that tops it all would be The Heir.

message 17: by Spriya (new)

Spriya | 242 comments ooo yes the whole Selection series for me lol

message 18: by Nikita (new)

Nikita Mostly books I couldn't finish like Twilight, I fell asleep by ch. 5. The list is too long to list.

Twilight was quite boring, tbh. I don't know why, I love vampire stories but this one just fell flat. And the movie adaptations, don't even get me started...

message 20: by Spriya (new)

Spriya | 242 comments Yeah. Honestly, I liked the movies more, just because I could get them over with faster XD.
yOu nAmEd mY dAuGhTeR aFtEr tHe lOcH nEsS MoNsTeR????]

message 21: by becky (new)

becky (lunalin) | 150 comments I hate Twilight as well, only I gave a few stars because I was generous...
I mean, in the fist book, this is what happens...

bella: I love you edward!
edward: I hate you bella
Bella: I love you edward
edward: . . .
Bella: edward?
edward: I think I love you too . . .
(*kiss, kiss, kiss)
and all through out the series, it's bella and edward's disgusting love, saying each other ''I love you''(?)
And when Edward says ''My love, bella'', that is . . .
ironic

message 22: by becky (new)

becky (lunalin) | 150 comments I also hate ''It only happens in the movies''
I don't really like Holly Bourne's books, she always has a ending making me feel like I'm going to vomit or just scream with frustration since the books I have read from her is about ''un-happy endings'' and lost girls trying to find their love but in the end, they just say to their boyfriend ''I can't ans won't love you''
ugh

becky (lunalin) | 150 comments *and

Domitylle (can only update books rn. sorry) (dom_brlw) | 65 comments Many people love Twilight but I never really thought it was that good just by seeing that it was full of cheesy romance...
Though I haven't read it yet...

Domitylle (can only update books rn. sorry) (dom_brlw) | 65 comments It's not really fantasy or anything but I absolutely hate Macbeth and 1984!!!
Hate both of them soooo much!

Karro wrote: "To be honest I didn't like Divergent"

I personally liked the first book, but for me the series sort of went downhill. I can see why some people might not like it, though.

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

Tiger's Curse by Colleen Houck. Seriously. What kind of garbage was that. I only finished it because my teacher gave me the book and I didn't want to disappoint her lol

message 29: by Wajeeha (new)

Wajeeha | 4 comments I disliked The Fault in our Stars and Pride and Prejudice. Guess I have the most unpopular opinion about these two books but they weren't for me

message 30: by Feyre✧・゚: (new)

Feyre✧・゚: (illyrianfemale) | 9 comments I really disliked Given to the Sea and Given to the Earth by Mindy McGinnis. Don't get me wrong, it is good writing, and a good premise, but I could not finish the book, it was so slow. I don't remember if I finished the first book and started the second or if I just didn't finish the first.

Same, I bought Given to the Sea and I couldn't get through the first five chapters. Maybe I'll try again...?

I was sorta excited when it came out but I can't bring myself to read it cuz I don't give one about Snow, or is that just me???? Like, everyone will read about Katniss, but I can't be bothered to read about Snow
