Yes I know it will be a duology (can't wait!!!), I thought I would leave it in here until book 2 comes out, but if it confuses people I can always move it :) x
Edit - I've moved it 😂

We all want another Inej and Kaz story, I think. Maybe she'll do another one later down the line.
Zoya and Nicolai - yessss!!!!

Question: I sort of want to read this book but the thing is I hated Six of Crows. So do you think the magic and government and writing style improves in this book compared to SoC? and I know what happens in the Shadow and Bone trilogy so do I need to read it before this?
if you read Shadow and Bone, it would only introduce you to the Grishaverse world and the character of Nikolai. Otherwise, they're not really intertwined so you don't need to.
I can't exactly say if it improves, because obviously that's still down to your personal opinion. However it is different as in SoC it's about a group of outcasts/runaways basically carrying out a heist. This book is about Nikolai ruling his kingdom (and the struggle) so i suppose in the government style it has more of it.
