I'm wondering what people thought about a white person writing 1st person for the black protagonist.
I looked at the library for "March With Me" and they do not have it. Does everyone buy these books to read, or is there some other source people use to read these books? I am just curious if there are other options to read books if they are not at the library that I am not aware of. Thanks and have a great weekend.

I think you can also read these books on ebook or another place online if you can. Some of these books are difficult to come by, but it's alright if you don't get the chance to read them, since they are hard to find! :D

I think it would bring much more diversity in seeing the different perspectives of many races in these stories!

You might ask your library to carry it - you could mention the awards it's won. Thanks for your interest!

I agree! That's why I have a black protagonist and a white protagonist. For my research I talked with many of both races who were teenagers in Birmingham at that time.

That's awesome! That would definitely help with seeing how both races perceived racism in America!
