Hornet's nest discussion

A cliffside overlooking a fairly deep lake. It's not too long of a drop.

Griffin skips to the cliffside and swings her legs over, sitting on the edge.

Victoria followed suit, going up to the side of the cliff. She looked over hesitantly, then backed up a few feet and sat down. "Nope! Not happening," she laughed.

Griffin grins and scoots back to meet her. "It has water at the bottom. We could always go for a swim."

Victoria's eyes lit up. "I love to swim!!" She thought for a moment. "Maybe there's a path down? I am NOT jumping."

Griffin smiles and shakes her head. "I never take the path. We can jump together if you want."

Victoria bit her lip, weighing the pros and cons, and then sighed. "Alright..." she grimaced.

Griffin smiles and slowly leads Victoria to the edge of the cliff.

Tobias walks in. He looks down. The void tempts him but he doesn't do anything.

Griffin looks over the edge of the cliff and throws a rock down.

Victoria shook her head. "I still don't like that edge," she laughed.

Tobias peers at other people.

Griffin pats Victoria's head. "Don't worry, it's not so far down."

Victoria laughed. She looked up at Tobias. "Hi! I'm Victoria!"

Tobias waves at the other people.

Griffin smiles at Tobias and waves.

Tobias went over. "I'm Tobias."

"Nice to meet you!" Victoria smiled warmly.

Tobias was shocked by their homeliness. "Cool. I just arrived here."

"Cool! I've been here for a while, but I'm glad to see some new people in the area," Victoria smiled.

"Thanks." Tobias said. "And who are you?" He gestured to the girl.

Griffin smiles. "Hiya! I'm Griffin!" she says cheerfully.

“Hi!” Tobias chuckled at her enthusiasm.

Tobias left for the café.

Tobias walked in, hands in pockets.

Vinnie skips in and smooths out his baby pink hoodie. He adjusts his choker and sips his iced coffee. He bobs his head to a tune he is humming and twirls around, taking in the sights.

Tobias sees another guy. He waved and walks over. “I’m Tobias. Who are you?” He was curious and had a lot of energy.

Vinnie smiles at Tobias. “Hiya! I’m Vinnie! Nice to meetcha!”

Tobias stuck out his hand and smiled warmly at him.

Vinnie shakes his hand and smiles.

“What’s your power?” He asked curiously.

Vinnie smiles. “I work with color. What about you?”

"Invisibility. And how do you work with color?" He was confuzzled.

Vinnie shrugs and takes a sip of his iced coffee. “I can retract and shift the wavelengths of light to hit the surface of something differently. Sometimes I can invert the colors in a small area.” He says, staring past Tobias and over the cliff.

“That’s gayyyyyy.” He was thinking, but instead said, “Cool.”

Vinnie nods and stares at Tobias, trying to figure out if he’s gay.

Tobias furrows his brow. “What?” He looks away from his gaze.

Vinnie points at Tobias with his coffee. “Gay?” He asks curiously.

Tobias was flustered. “You don’t just ask someone that. And no. I absolutely despise those homosexuals.” He said, convincing Vinnie he was homophobic.

Vinnie turns on his heel. “Bye bye, phobic. Have a nice day in your toxic life.” He says, walking in the other direction.

Tobias chuckled to himself and called, “I’m gayyyyy.”

Vinnie swivels around and stares at him, not moving. “What’s your favorite genre of music?”

"Um... gay music?" He said, honestly. The only thing he listened to was Conan Gray (which was bisexual and had some gay shit in it as well) and Hayley Kiyoko (she's lesbian but whatever).

Vinnie nods. “Same.” He says, taking a sip of his coffee.

Tobias walked a bit towards Vinne. "Gay?" He asks him. "And sorry about that..."

Frankie walks in, sees two guys, and walks out. She's afraid of men. Not because of anything bad, she's just... afraid. She watches too much TV. Frankie goes to the bakery again.
