What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

This was a paperback from the library in the teen section. Read it sometime in early 90s, I think. A girl runs away from home (or is thinking about running away from home) and ends up somehow with this rock band with three boys. The leader she has a sort of love/hate thing with. He tells stylist to cut off all her hair and in retaliation she smashes his beloved toy train on stage.

I have tried and tried to find this book and have pretty much given up hope - but maybe possible someone else will have heard of it??
