I’m definitely joining in for The Giver of Stars. I picked this up about two weeks ago and have heard wonderful things! I’m excited for it!Our library here is still closed, but I’ve been taking advantage of curb side pick up. I’ll be glad to be able to go inside again! (whenever that may be!)
Hi Krista, I’m joining for Giver of Stars which I picked up recently at a yard sale - whoop, whoop!! I follow you on YouTube and this will be my first read along, so excited🤓
Well, I’ve decided I’m going to give both books a try. First I’m reading Kitchens of the Midwest and then I’ll try Giver of Stars. I had chosen Giver of Stars months ago as my BOTM so I’ve had that. And then recently received Kitchens of the Midwest. Excited for both of them!
I'd love to join in. I've been hearing a lot about this book. I have put it on hold at the library but all copies are currently out. We'll see if I can get it in time. Our libraries are open for curbside pick-up only (and only 4 of the branches at that). I have heard of The Packhorse Librarian Project and it intrigues me. I read The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek a few months ago (which is also about this project). I'd like to find some non-fiction info/books about it.
I will be joining in for both books. I am not a Jojo Moyes fan, but I’ve heard great things about this one and want to give it a shot!

Let me know if you find any good nonfic books about pack horse librarians. I also read Bookwoman and I loved it. Very eager to read this one too.

Hi Krista! I decided to join in with Giver of the Stars! I've been wanting to read this for awhile and this may just be the push I need to finallt do just that! This will be my first Jojo Moyes book.
My local library is opened, has been since June 5th, but operating on VERY limited hours. We are allowed inside which is so nice!
Lookinh forward to reading and discussing this with all of you!
I would like to read both books, but will start with Giver of Stars. I have had it on my Kindle since it came out and I need this push to buckle down and read it!
Hi Krista, I already own The Giver of Stars. I read The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek recently so I learned a lot about the packhorse librarian project. I have only read one other Jojo Moyes book.....Me Before You.Our local libraries are just opened up last week for curbside pick-up. (I was able, finally, to return 16 books I had borrowed earlier in the year.)
Hi, Krista and all,I love your YouTube channel and thought I'd sign onto "The Giver of Stars" group. Fortunately, the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled had this in its collection, so it was an easy download. Thanks for setting up this group; I look forward to our discussions.

Who is joining in for The Giver of Stars? Shout out in the comments below. Are you familiar with the packhorse librarian project? Is this your first Jojo Moyes book? What is the status of your local library at the moment?
I was able to enter a library for the first time today! We opened for curbside pickup about a month ago, but today I was allowed to go inside! It was wonderful! I couldn't browse too much because I had 4 kiddos that I nanny with me. But they had fun browsing and picking out their own books.
Looking forward to reading with you all this month!
