What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Looking for a book I read in the early 2000's, definitely before 2010.

*Possible SPOILERS (although everything I remember is pretty vague):

Urban, modern, city setting

The story is about a (male) vampire being held captive in a basement (underground?) cell. Either in the cell next to him or in his cell is a human woman. I think she was kidnapped and put in there as food or bait or something. He drinks a little bit of blood from her at a time. They begin to form a bond and somehow escape. I believe that she was turned into a vampire before their escape (or maybe it plays a part in their escape). But she becomes a vampire too.

At some point after the escape they are separated/go separate ways but some plot line with the captors not being completely dealt with continues. The guy vampire watches the girl and sees her behind a bar/club trying to seduce some guys she can drink blood from. They reunite aaaand, I don't really remember more.

I remember finding this book at a library in the "Fiction" section which was organized by authors' last names. This book was in the A~E area (buuut I'd guess more specifically A~B).

In searching for this book I thought it could be Once Bitten, Twice Burned by Cynthia Eden based on the synopsis, but I tried a sample and it wasn't it. I don't think there were any other mythical creatures in this book.

Yes!! Thank you! It looks like this book was published under two names, "The Night Inside" and "Kiss of the Vampire" just to make it more confusing to remember haha.
