Yeah, the movie is going to suck, they aren't even making Annabeth blonde, even though that's one of her most important physical features, along with her gray eyes... Ugh.

how about a story line where: the earth has 75% covered in forest. therefore everyone resides within the forest somewhere. while residing in the forest there is a certain type of tree that gives you a special type of power called a venom. the power is chosen at random, and once the fruit is eaten the consumer goes through a type of test where there have to face their darkest and deepest fear of worst memory. of course having a super powerful power with no drawbacks would be unfair. so when your power has adapted to your body and vice versa you'll also gain a major weakness, like not being able to swim, extremely flammable. how does it sound
