kylee ...

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) Verton entered his dorm and studied the area. A bed on either side. He chose the one on the right and walked over to set up his things. He put his bag down next to the bed and his books on the elegant, translucent bedside table. He draped a seafoam colored curtain over his window and pulled back the drapes. Then Verton stepped back to admire his handiwork with a faint grin showing on his face.

kylee Amar walked in, head down as he went to his bed and started unpacking, chiding to stay silent. He put away his clothes, placed his potted plants on the windowsill, and other necessary things.

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) "Hey there!" Verton welcomed the cupid, "You're Amar, right? My dormmate?" He said, sitting on his bed and rocking back and forth, testing it's comfortability as he waited for Amar to answer. He seemed... shy. He hoped they could be friends, but maybe it just wasn't to be.

kylee “Well, obviously, or else i would’ve broken into some rando’s room,” Amar replied, his back turned. “And you’re Verton.”

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) "Nice to meet you, Amar." Verton said through clenched teeth, trying to keep the anger and annoyance on the inside. What was it with this cupid? He was just trying to be friendly. "You been here long?" He asked, fluffing his pillow and laying back on it.

message 7: by kylee (new)

kylee Amar shrugged. “Not long enough, but longer than you, I think.” He finished putting things away and fell back onto his bed, his wings spreading out from under him.

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) "I'd have to agree." Verton chuckled absentmindedly. "As I just walked in. It's quite the institution, I say. You know, I might go see what else this place has to offer. Care to join?" He offered the cupid questioningly. "We could go check out the gym... I heard the ocean is a sight." He said, slicking back his black hair with one hand and admiring himself in the mirror. "Of course, water is one of my favorites, as I am a Naiad. But I'm sure we could find someplace suitable for a cupid, as well."

message 9: by kylee (new)

kylee Amar stretched out his arms, his wings fluttering ever so slightly. “Why not. I don’t care where we go, so long as it isn’t boring.” He sat up, ran a hand through his curly white hair and yawned.

message 11: by kylee (new)

kylee (the ocean sounds nice)

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) ((Okay. See ya there.))

"The ocean it is!" Verton announced, setting his hair products down on the bedside table and grabbing Amar's arm, dragging the cupid out of the dorm. He flicked off the light and closed the door with a bang.

message 13: by kylee (new)

kylee Amar groaned and followed, keeping his wings close to him so they wouldn’t snag on anything.

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) Verton creeped in and shut the door quietly. He snickered under his breath as he took position next to the door, where he could easily pop out and scare Amar. He hear footsteps approaching and laughed a bit with a hand clamped over his mouth.

message 15: by kylee (new)

kylee The window opened and Amar stepped through, his wings tucked in close as he smirked at Verton. “Trying to scare me?” He said, hopping down onto the ground as he shut the window tight.

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) Verton watched Amar fly in the window and frowned grumpily. "No." He lied, walking away from the door. "I was... guarding. Yes, that'd it's! Trying to make sure no unwanted guests entered our humble abode!" He threw his arms out widely and dramatically as he gestured at their dorm room.

message 17: by kylee (new)

kylee “I would’ve thought you would’ve stood at the trap door then,” he half joked. Amar didn’t really know if there was a trapdoor or not, but he was hoping there wasn’t. He stretched his shoulders slightly, making sure they wouldn’t be sore later from the flight.

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) "That's a fail" Verton said, moving away the rug and tapping the floor it covered with his foot. "No trapdoor. Unless they hid it somewhere else?" He peeked under his bed curiously. "Nah! Let's just say I'm right." He winked and smoothed his hair, then busied himself with fixing the rug.

kylee Amar shook his head, chuckling. “I’m gonna take a shower, i don’t like smelling like the ocean.” He grabbed a change of clothes and a towel, and headed into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him.

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) "That's rediculous." Verton said, waving a dismissive hand. "But whatever." He searched for his wallet in his bags as Amar showered, taking out some change for his dormate and setting it on Amar's bed. He combed back his hair then draped his bed in an ocean green sheet and added a pillow at the head of the bed. He jumped onto the covers.

message 21: by kylee (new)

kylee The shower turned on and Amar washed up, making sure to keep his wings and hair dry, they were a pain to dry when wet. He finished washing and dried off, then pulled on comfortable clothes with slits in the back for his wings to poke out. He stepped out of the bathroom, and stretched his arms.

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) Why don't they give us water beds?" Verton asked, frowning at his mattress. "I am gravely disappointed with this school." He looked over Amar. "You look clean." He noted, setting up and streatching as well. "So what now, sir royalty?" Verton asked.

message 23: by kylee (new)

kylee “Water bed?” Amar shook his head, a confused smile on his face. “But I don’t know what to do. Everything as been so weird here.” From the voices at the beach to the weird paint at the bakery.

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) "Then I'm taking a nap." Verton decided, clicking of his lamp and laying back down on the bed. "Watch this." He said to Amar, pulling out a clam from his seaweed crafted bag. He rubbed his fingers on the inside of the clam and rubbed the substance on his cheeks and forehead. "Smooth as silk." He hummed happily.

message 25: by kylee (new)

kylee Amar grimaced and looked away. “Okay then,” he said. He sat down on his bed, grabbed a book on his nightstand that looks well-read, and opens it up to a folded down page.

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) Vernon laughed. “You do not fully understand the joys of life“ he said, pulling up the covers and laying down. “Good night, Amar.”

message 27: by kylee (new)

kylee “Night Verton.” Amar turned on the small lamp next to his bed and started to read a book he’s read many times. It was of a hero from a small town who’s main goal is to save the world from a power hungry god. It may be an old book written for those younger than him, but it holds a special place in his heart. He’s read it more than he would want to say.

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) Verton dozed off in his bed sleepily. His loud snores echoed across the dorm room, making it sound somewhat like a bear was sleeping in the room. He rolled uncomfortably in the sheets, used to the normal sea beds they'd have back home.

message 29: by kylee (new)

kylee Amar looked up from his book, slightly annoyed from the snores but was used to it. His younger brother was the same, and he was able to tune it out fairly quickly. He turned to the next page, and continued his reading, but his eyelids soon grew heavy, and he fell asleep with the book on his chest.

message 31: by kylee (new)

kylee (no clue)

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) ((Hmmm... Do you want them to split up and meet new people?))

message 33: by kylee (new)

kylee (sure)

message 35: by kylee (new)

kylee (Amar normally wakes up early, so i guess him)

message 37: by kylee (new)

kylee Amar woke up early in the morning, his hair a mess and the book right next him, having fallen off of him in the night when he rolled over. He sat up, ran a hand through his hair, and went to get get ready. He grabbed an outfit for the day and entered the bathroom to change. He changed out of his pajamas and pulled on a graphic tee with slits in the back for his wings, a pair of black shorts, socks and shoes. He brushed his hair and teeth and left the bathroom in no less than ten minutes.

Sushie || "To gain your voice, you must forget about having it heard" -William Ginsberg (73687) Verton sat up stiffly as dawn's light seeped in through the curtains. His back ached from the hard solidness of his bed. So unlike a water bed. He sighed and stood, tossing away the sheets and stretching.
Verton let out a groan of relief and grabbed some clothes, changing quickly before he left his dorm.

message 39: by kylee (new)

kylee Amar nodded to Verton as they passed. He watered all his plants, using a small spray bottle. He grabbed a bag, and left the dorm room, hoping to explore more of the school grounds.
