2015 Reading Challenge discussion

For this part of the challenge, I read "Life After Life" by Kate Atkinson. I didn't love it or hate it but I was glad when it was over. (though I know quite a few people who LOVED this book!).

I wanted more out of the ending of that book. I thought it was good, but not great.

I just finished The Book of Strange New Things yesterday. I liked it a lot. It has a really unusual premise, it's basically a character study set in a sci-fi story.

Brave New World by ALdous Huxley

Absolutely, Claire. The ending was quite a letdown and felt thrown on for no real reason.

Just finished re-reading Ken Follett's "The Pillars of the Earth" for the 500+ challenge. Planning to get in at least one other large tome this year, but I'm not sure which yet.

I'm reading Doctor Zhivago. One of those books I always wanted to read but hadn't.

Salem's Lot by Stephen King.

Isabella: The Warrior Queen

I read Justin Cronin's The Passage, thought it was really well written and could probably count for book that scares you or thriller as well!
