A open field of just rocks.

Marty walked ahead of everyone, bow ready to fire.

Newt jogged up beside of Marty.

He looked over at Newt and asked, "Whats up?"

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay. After, you know...being stabbed." He said.

Marty nodded hesitantly. "Yeah, I'm good. Thanks for asking. Maybe your not so bad after all."

Newt chuckled and shook his head. "Thanks."

Marty squinted ahead and asked, "Think there are survivors?"

"They are probably all cranks." Newt whispers

Marty glanced back at Thomas, "Gonna tell him that?"
((also, wheres teresa in all this?))

((No clue. Lol))

"No." Newt said and looked down.

Marty said, "Your a really good friend, you know that? I know Thomas does."

Newt chuckled and shook his head.

Suddenly, they both heard a rustling behind a boulder in front of them. Marty readied his bow and nodded at Newt. They both slowly walked forward.

((should they find teresa, or just pretend shes been here all along?))

((Lets just say Theresa disappeared))


Newt grabbed a knife

Marty jumped behind, and a crank tackled him

((was she taken by wckd? like they got her, only sonner?))

((I dunno..I'll do that later...))

Newt stabbed the crank

Marty nudged it with his toe. It reared up and bit his leg. Marty yelled, and blew it's head off.

Newt jumped

Mallory followed the gladers, dodging cranks.

Newt continued on

Marty groaned and looked at his leg. He realized Newt hadn't noticed, and he continued to walk, if a bit stiffly.

Newt lead the group again

Thomas came up to Newt and whispered, "Has there been any news on Teresa yet?"

Newt looks around. "I don't know. Did you try talking to her in your mind?"

Thomas nodded. He said, "Nothing happened."

Newt shrugs. "I'm sure she'll turn up at some point."

Thomas said, "Thanks Newt," and fell back a little, deep in thought.

Marty felt a bit feverish. He rolled up his pant leg and gasped. The bite was turning black, and it didn't look like it was healing.

Mallory walked beside Thomas, and looked around. Her throat was parched and her skin was hot, but she didn't care.

Thomas glanced at her. He pulled out a water bottle he had and said, "Drink. You need it."

She smiled a little, but shook her head, "I'm fine. We should savor it, not waist it on me." She says

((So did you take over Thomas? Or is that just a different character you made?))

Thomas grinned and said, "A sip won't hurt."

Marty walked behind a big rock and collapsed. The bite was feeling worse by the second. Marty looked down and realized the only way to live, was to cut it off.

((Okay!))

Mallory sighed, which was a mistake because it hurt her throat. But she took the water bottle and had a tiny sip. "Thanks Tom." She says, and hands it back to him.

Thomas grinned, and started to say something, when a scream pierce the air.

Mallory's eyes widened, and she looked around, trying to find the source of the scream. She gripped Thomas's hand.

Marty held the searing, white hot, explosive arrow against the bite, burning the poison out. He yelled in pain, and started seeing white spots.

Mallory grimaced as she watched Marty.

Marty pulled the arrow away after a bit, and the poison was gone. There was still a bite mark, and the arrow had burned him pretty bad, but at least he would live.

Marg says

He grinned weakly up at his sister, "I'm ok."

Marg took out some gauze and wrapped it around his leg

"No, you're not"

Marty nodded firmly and got up, "Yes, I am.

Thomas asked him, "What happened?"

"HE got bit"

Marg says

Thomas frowned and said, "How did you get the poison out?"

Marty grimaced, "It helps to have explosive arrows."

Marg rolls her eyes

Mallory looks at Marty, "What if you have the Flare...? Explosive arrows won't help the disease from spreading."

Marty said, "I'm ok. Everuone put in the maze is immune, right?"

Marg stayed silent

Marty frowned, "I dont like that."

Thomas said, "Not everyone is immune, Marty."
