True Grit question

My total books read is 787 but the one number shows 789 and when I checked my book list, I notice that after one of the books I read, it shows two blank lines but there are date boxes showing like I read the book 3 times. Does anyone know how to get rid of those extra lines so that the correct number of books will show? On those particular lines there is no X to delete. Thanks for your help.
