Justine (its_justine) Amra herself states "I don't make friends easily", but I call bullsh*t (pardon my French). Let's chat about what draws people to her, and her inability to see her own worth outside being a thief.

Myra, Alain, and Owin
An entire family willing to put themselves in harm's way to to protect Amra when she returns from her nighttime excursion to the Heirus' villa. Although Myra implies a debt paid, it can't end there, right?

Lord Osskil
"But why would you care about honor?" "If you have to ask, you wouldn't understand." After her heartfelt speech about Corbin, his estranged brother seems to swiftly hand over the reins. And that encounter with Corbin in the Necropolis...do we trust this guy?

Holgren
"What are friends for?" Holgren shows up on Amra's doorstep at a very opportune time. Do we believe his intentions are pure, or is he being driven by his curiosity for the arcane?

Fengal Daruvner
For a fixer, Daruvner seems to be pretty invested in Amra and her wellbeing, going so far as ensuring she drags Holgren along on her next adventure. Is it all just business, or do you think he truly cares for her?

Peyton | 15 comments Myra, Alain, and Owin - they might come up, but I'm not sure! I also call bullshit on Amra not being able to make friends.

Lord Osskil - Nope. Do not trust him. His love for his brother seems sincere, but Corbin's whole family is very shady. Even is Osskil ends up being a "good" guy, I bet he'll bring trouble.

Holgren - I think it's a mix of both! He doesn't seem like the lying type, but he does seem like the partial truth type. I think he really does like Amra, but he also has his own reasons for being curious about the golden toad (and wanting to be close to it and the person who has it). I'm guessing his motivations will conflict soon, and we'll find out what he's really there for.

Fengal - I think he truly cares for her. He seems like a great businessman, and I think that's because he cares about the people he works with. From his description, we know that he doesn't make many enemies, but when he does he makes sure they're dead, so we know he isn't completely pure. I think he can be ruthless, but mostly he cares about the people he surrounds himself with.

I was thinking the same thing! About calling bullsh*t I mean. She seems to make strong friendships. Or at least makes relationships with people who are willing to go above and beyond for her. So yeah I don't think she sees her own worth very well.

Myra, Alain, Owen - I'd like to know a little more about what she did for him but the mama of the family really feels strongly about how good Amra is no matter her vocation. They stitched her up, gave her a bed, fed her, gave her clothes, and offered a place to settle down and live. That commitment says a lot.

Lord Osskil - I'm really not sure about him yet. I want to trust him and think he cared about his departed brother but then again WHY WAS HE NOT AROUND BEFORE?!? So maybe he isn't trustworthy at all.

Holgren - So far I like him. He's fun, good with a spell, has protected Amra. Is there more to him? sure. I mean he's a mage right? Right now I feel he's trustworthy. Make me change my mind.

Fengal - Hmm...still need to know more. The first interaction seemed positive and genuine. But it his opinion WAS based upon business interests. So maybe it's all about the money.

AB | 11 comments Amra definitely doesn't see her own worth, and doesn't expect people to care for her.

I like Holgren, and I will be very upset if he ends up being a douchebag.

William | 12 comments Holgren feels a bit too chummy... but revisiting the idea of Amra's unreliability, I wonder if that's because he's into her. A romantic/sexual attraction doesn't seem anywhere on her radar, but it could explain a lot of his behavior.
