Personality: Outgoing, athletic, good with the outdoors, loves his sister more then anything, adventurous, fearless (For the most part), he can't stand still. Loves to make a good joke.
Appearance: He is 5'7, long shaggy dark brown hair, brown eyes, a few light freckles dotted across his cheeks and nose. Wears a simple t shirt and pants with a thicker jacket around his waist. Wears some old brown boots that are too big for him. Has a small silver dagger connected to his belt. Usually carries around a small leather sack full of extra food, a variety of herbs, and small water jugs.
History/Backstory (optional): When he was 6, both of his parents died in a house fire. He and Meadow were playing with some of the other kids. When the dragonmancers found out, they kicked them out, not wanting anymore annoying children to deal with. They packed up a few things that survived the fire and left the village, never to return again. They enjoy traveling the continent. At this point, they know how to stay hidden to avoid dragons.

Appearance: 5'5, her wavy dark brown hair is usually in a messy bun or ponytail, held up by bit of cloth. Has brown eyes. Wears an old small light yellow dress that she fixed into a shirt. Wears some of Spruce's old pants that are too big on her. Wears some new leather boots. Usually caries a bag a lot like Spruce's, with some spare clothes, two books they got from a village, and their valuables.
History/Backstory (optional): Pretty much the same as Spruce.
Village/Home (optional): Doesn't have a real home, likes to travel all around the continent. She was born in Talisman.
Other: She can speak very little dragon, basically she knows how to tell dragons that they come in peace and that they mean no harm. And please don't kill them. She also knows a few other words that she picked up in a small village while she was buying some new clothes.

History/Backstory (optional): Grew up in the Indestructible City. When he was 17, he was exiled for treason (he did nothing treasonous though). After months of searching, he found himself in Talisman. He was then again exiled for multiple robberies of the government. Turned away imidietly from Valor. Current residence is with Landslide, so no-one knows where he is living.

Name: Parsley, Sage, Rosemary (triplets, AKA the Scarborough Fair Family)

Personalities: All of them share the willingness to help others, but will stay away from anyone who has continually done offense. Parsley is a natural leader and helps his sisters with most issues involving bullying, schoolwork, self-consciousness, etc. Parsley can get a little bit spicy at times, and has a little bit of an attitude problem. Sage is the favorite of Thyme, she is spunky and often is the one who helps Parsley with his issues most often. She cannot be easily taken down, but she is quick to anger and guilt. She also has a good singing voice and plays the lute very well. Rosemary is very good with crafting. She is very quiet and doesn’t tell anyone her troubles, sometimes until it is too late. She also helps her family when Parsley can’t.
Backstory: Family was accidentally killed by Flint when Flint was after a dragonet. Thyme volunteered to take them in and they were often at gatherings with the best goods.
Appearances: The triplets look a little bit different Parsley and Sage have chamomile-tea-brown skin while Rosemary has lighter skin. Sage has auburn hair while Parsley and Rosemary both have cocoa-brown. All three siblings have green eyes, but Parsley has piercing green, Sage has emerald green, and Rosemary has soft-moss green.

Personality: Lilac is very smart, and has VERY STRONG opinions. She loves to debate, and her dream is to become a Wingwatcher. She lives in Talisman with her parents and siblings. (Lilac is very close to her siblings.) She is a free spirit and doesn't exactly have a filter, she says what she feels, when she feels it!!

Appearance: Lilac has chocolate skin, and long dark black hair that she often wears in a single braid. She always wears silver earrings in the shape of the moon. Her large eyes are a subtle sea-blue, with blue green flecks.

Gender: Male
Personality: Cardamon has strong opinions, but he knows when to not bother with a fight. He holds a grudge for a while, but always tells people not to hold one. He sometimes ends up in trouble with the law for some lawsuit or another on the quality of his gold products, and in those cases (and in a few normal ones) gets REALLY spicy, like, losing his temper spicy, but so far has not lost money or his reputation. Most anything he does is for his family’s well-being, and has risked a lot (including once his life) for them.
Appearance: Cardamon has milk-chocolate-brown-weather-beaten skin, ocean-blue eyes with green flecks and dark-brown-almost-black hair. His hands are rough, chaffed, and scarred from both working on the farm and as a goldsmith. He is slightly above-average height, and carries himself like he is in the military.
Backstory: Lived in Valor for most of his life until he started his career as a goldsmith. He did not have good business there since not a lot of people bought gold. He moved to Talisman, and had slightly better luck there, mostly because he learned how to work with iron and steel. (I’ll try to get him an apprentice).

Appearance: Short for his age, Jasper has mint-tea-brown skin, shoulder-length dark auburn hair, redwood-brown eyes with some golden flecks and long eyelashes. Jasper usually wears a dark-brown trench coat. The top button is ripped off from some fight or other and is replaced by a jasper and silver-plated-copper pin. Jasper usually wears either hiking boots, or combat boots, unless his sport passion says otherwise.
Personality: Jasper usually is the last person you would expect to fight. He does not like to fight under normal circumstances, and is the first person to either break up the fight or run away. He really likes to explore and play sports, even competitively. But when anyone starts making fun of his short size or calls him a coward, he looses it and often will get into a fight. Jasper is also really imaginative and can pretend to be a lot of things.
Backstory: Family was on the lower end of working-class people in the indestructible city. Family was then kicked out for "not paying the right amount of taxes" (Ruler of the Indestructible City more like wanted to make more room for rich people). Family wandered awhile before starting a new life in Valor.

She always has a leather satchel with her full of medicines, some books and journals, and food she manages to get (apples, bread, etc.). Back when she lived in the indestructible city, she was considered to be quite beautiful.
History/Backstory: Doe grew up with a wonderful, rich family until her mother died giving birth to her younger sister when she was 5. After that her father grew cold to her and Birch, focusing solely on Amethyst. After a few years of being neglected, Doe and Birch talked about running away, but Birch didn’t want to leave the safety of the city, so Doe left without him.

Personality: Fox is very secretive and mysterious. She's not normally very talkative because of her past, she's hasn't felt the need to speak in a very long time. And she isn't very open to human interaction. Fox does love fashion though and she's often found either drawing out sketches or out holding out on her Wingwatcher duties. She's also very intelligent, when she was young, she was able to start learning the language of dragons just why spying on them.

History/Backstory: When Fox was young, she lives in Talisman with her mother, father, and little sister. She was happy and she could be seen and found running around with other children, well until the elders yelled at them about being loud enough for the dragons to hear.
But when she was seven years old her mother Lily, was taking by a sky dragon and (view spoiler)[killed (hide spoiler)]. Since then, Fox has closed herself off. And it only got worse. At the age of eight, both her father and sister were captured by a rouge ice dragon who decided to travel to Talisman. After that, Fox had been so mad at the dragons she decided to travel to slay dragons like ice dragons and sky dragons. When she didn't get as far as she wanted too, she stopped her journey in Valor. There she meant many different kinds of people but she didn't have an interest in them.
At the age of fourteen, she became a Wingwatcher and she started her art career along with it. She never got adopted by anyone, mostly because she was so distant, so she stayed an orphan.

There's a canon character named Hawthorn in the series, so if Sunrise could find a different one for him that'd be great! I'm not sure if this was on purpose and please correct me if I misinterpreted their ethnicity, but I believe having an Indigenous character/a character who is supposed to look like Native Americans or Indigenous people casually wear a feather in their hair is racist? (There's a chance I'm wrong however, as I am white. I'm basing my interpretation of this from something I saw written on Piper Mclean (of HoH) and how she's written. I believe that this was the post, let me know if the url stops working?)

Personality: When you first meet Mockingbird, she appears very sensible, witty, and having a little bit of a sharp tongue. That cleverly exaggerated facade hides an adventurous personality and will always find some way to get what she wants. She can also end up bending some rules, but she always makes up for any harm she has caused, but usually when she knows she was caught.

Appearance: Mockingbird has milk-chocolate brown hair with a white streak through it. She has skin slightly lighter than her hair, and soft, hazel eyes. When Mockingbird lived in Talisman, she usually wore a simple brown dress and boots. When she worked in the Indestructible City, she wore a longer, black-and-white checkered dress (which she hates, but needs to wear it to blend in with the other people). Outside of work, she wears a blue tunic, brown pants, and the same-style boots she had when she lived in Talisman.

Backstory: Mockingbird's parents fell on hard times when she was 4. Her parents couldn't afford a good education for her, but she did learn simple mathematics and learned how to read from her parents, as well as running the farm. When she was 9, she decided to "forcefully borrow" some books from the school in the night and read them to learn. She would also give them back right before the crack of dawn. She managed to do this most nights until she was 13 and was caught. She had to do community service as a punishment at the normal time she was reading. Unfortunately for the school board, she was already as smart as an average 16 year old. She took time off from her studies to help her parents. When she was 15, she ran away from home and took a test that allowed her to become a teacher (A year earlier than 'legally allowed') She was caught again and this time had to sell some of her belongings, and earn money working on another family's farm to pay the fine. Luckily, she was still allowed to work as a teacher as her knowledge was very extensive. She then looked for work as a teacher and was accepted by an aristocratic family in the Indestructible City as a governess and tutor (Story will be continued on the next few scavengers I post).

Name: Monadenium (Nobody can remember his name, so people call him 'Monade')

Appearance: Dark-grey hair streaked with white, caramel colored skin slightly bleached out from old age. His eyes are still a sparkling chocolate brown, looking almost as if they are still holding the youth that seams to have almost entirely left him. He still has a very strong step and knows how to survive in the bare wilderness. He usually wears brown pants and a tunic.

Personality: Monadenium at first seams like someone who is very strict and doesn't smile much, especially to his pupils. When you get to know him, and he gets to trust you, he will be your best friend and/or consultant. He is a very good listener and he is willing to help you any way he can. Also, don't sleep on his ability to survive in the wilderness: He knows how to survive a dragon attack that most young people (view spoiler)[ get badly injured or loose a limb in (at least) (hide spoiler)].

Backstory: Monadenium was part of an aristocratic family. He wasn't spoilt per say, and he was a good student, but he was missing some valuable life skills and life lessons. When his family traveled to an underground village, he got separated from the rest of the caravan. He managed to survive for years in the wilderness, in where he found a dragon owner. He lived with the dragon for 5 years, learning the dragon tongue and learning their behavior. One day, the dragon was killed in a fight. With no other dragon to live for, Monadenium found his way back to the Indestructible City. He then decided to become a teacher and usually taught the nobility. As he was getting old and didn't know how much time he had left, he looked for another person to take his place when he dies. He eventually found a 16-year-old and gave her a test to see if she was worthy (with more than just academic skills). She passed, strangely enough.

Family: Rook has an older sister that teaches at a school, and both of his parents are merchants.
Personality: Rook is funny and loves to talk to people. He hates people that view themselves higher than him, and often creates shouting crowds whenever nobles are around. He is very interested in dragons and wants to make friends with one, and has learned most of their language.
Appearance: Rook has dark skin and messy black hair. His arms are often sunburnt, and his eyes are green. Rook’s fists are wrapped to avoid splinters and scarring, and he wears a decent, bright white shirt and brown pants. He has expensive boots that he saved up for.
Role/Job: Rook does any sort of physical work. He dropped out of school to do this.
History/Backstory: He grew up in a normal household and dropped out of school to work.
Village/Home: He travels between talisman and the indestructible city, staying in each for about 4 months before going to the other.

Personalities: Morel Is very adventurous. He is the first boy to say “yes” to playing hooky if it means doing something fun. Despite this, he is unusually smart and would have been put in a class a grade higher had it not been for his behavior grade (usually a D or 3). When he is in school, sometimes he makes disruptive comments, and sometimes plays cute pranks. Miraculously, he has not been whipped as much as you would think and has not gotten expelled once. He has a knack for getting out of sticky circumstances with very clever distractions and tactics. Morel is no coward, and if his friends or family are in trouble, he would do whatever it takes to get them out of it, even allowing himself to take the blame. He is also surprisingly good at fixing things, having practiced taking apart wagons, catapults, and other interesting things.
Chanterelle Is a lot less boisterous. She usually follows the rules and standards to the point where some people call her a ‘goody-goody.’ However, she is creative and often improvises on the piano, earning more slaps on her wrists from her music teacher than Morel has ever got from his teacher, parents, and Sorrel. Even though she is much better than her music teacher at this point, Chanterelle still trains with her because her music teacher claims that Chanterelle still “Needs improvement in the basics of following what the composer wrote.” Chanterelle accepts this way of living as the norm she must follow, but she feels like there should be something more, and had she had the choice, she would have gone an entirely different path. Chanterelle always ends up looking towards the wilderness whenever she is lost in thought, hoping that some day, she will have a dragon owner, someone who accepts her as she is and does not tease her. She is usually the one who helps anyone who needs and deserves help, especially Sorrel.
Sorrel Was often proud, but not stuck-up, and used his position as the eldest to his advantage a lot. He could be a bit bossy at times, but would apologize if he hurt anyone’s feelings. He always longed for a job as a chef, even though it was considered “women’s work.” He was close to being able to work as a full-time chef until he fell off a tree while collecting apples. He did not die, but he hit his head such that he permanently lost sight. He was still able to cook, having memorized steps for doing so when he could see, but after a fire that nearly killed him, his parents forbade him from cooking. Ever since then, he became more morose and not as bossy as usual, sometimes leaving Chanterelle and Morel in disarray, and Morel was able to do more pranks at school without Sorrel’s wrath to worry about. Luckily, Morel is not completely heartless and does not prank Sorrel. Morel even helps Sorrel if Chanterelle is not available. Sorrel also started playing the piano, and likes it, but so far, nothing would fill the hole in his heart from not being able to cook.

Appearance: Morel and Chanterelle look almost alike, had it not been for the slight features that came from the fact they are of different genders. Chanterelle has long, dark-chocolate brown hair usually tied back into a long braid down to her waist. At times, especially when she is supposed to be working, her hair is rolled into bun at the nape of her neck Chanterelle also has soft, amber eyes flecked with gold. She usually wears a simple dress and trousers, usually dark-green, her favorite color. Morel has slightly-longer-than-close-cropped hair in the same color as his sister’s, and shares his sister’s gold-flecked-amber-eyes, but his eyes are laughing with a little more hardness. Morel usually wears overalls with a lot of pockets to hide things in. Sorrel has soft-green sightless eyes, and the same brown hair as his siblings. He has a burn scar on the outside of his left arm, from the fire that destroyed his career. Sorrel used to wear long pants and shirts when he had his sight, but then started wearing shorter cloths.

Backstory: The siblings lived usual lives for a few school children of an in-between poor and working class family. When Sorrel became blind at the age of 9, the family went into debt for Sorrel to get a good education for the blind. The triplet’s parents had to travel to the Indestructible City on business and haven’t returned since.

Personality: Cliff often believes he must always be on top, no matter what. This includes school, social status, "friends," other people, you name it. This leads to him often bullying other children, including those who are older than him. His main targets are smart kids younger than him. He is very clever in where and when he times his attacks, making sure no one knows what he has done. The only person who he will never, ever hurt feelings intentionally is his younger sister. He is diligent in his studies and in his hobbies and (unfortunately) bullying episodes. He loves dragons with a burning passion and wants to know them better. He longs to be outside and among dragons.

Appearance: Cliff is slightly tall and of slightly - thinner-than-average build. He has piercing green eyes, soft-chocolate-brown hair, and slightly-lighter-than-milk-chocolate brown skin. He often wears clothing which he can easily move around in, to escape from the scene quicker.

Backstory: Cliff was the first of two children to two elite citizens of the Indestructible City. His parent's job often means that they have to travel a lot, mainly to Valor. That is where he met most of the people he bullies. He was sharp-minded in school, but when he got a failing grade in one exam from a lazy teacher, he believed it was the end of it. He wanted to be the highest person he could be so that no one would dare give him a failing grade ever again. He and his sister eventually were given private lessons in their studies, but they hated their new teacher because there was no way she could teach them properly with how young she is, and give her a hard time.
