Nope...didn't guess Estra Haig at all. Yeah Amra like we would've known a whole lot sooner if you'd picked up the stupid package! So it comes down to a coincidental murder timed along with the larfer story about the statue and goddess and knife. Which I guess makes for the level of added conflict.
As for Amra...yeah she develops strong friendship bonds and they do seem to cloud her judgement a little. Not entirely, but it definitely impacted the whole story in that her trust of Corbin bled over to a trust in Estra that wasn't earned because Corbin had a trust in her.
I was still wondering at the end about all the other statues stolen from Corbin. Was it the Red Hand and his gang who took them or was it the Arhat? Or was it answered and I just missed it?
I'd also like to know a little more about Corbin's relationship with his brother. It turned out to be stronger than was realized at first. Or seemed to be.
Oh...I want to know more about the Inspector too.

Jason wrote: "I was still wondering at the end about all the other statues stolen from Corbin. It does beg the question of what those others were for though. Were they decoys, or did they all have mysterious artifacts in them (just not the one the Red Hand was after)?

Did any of you think Estra Haig was behind the murder? Or did McClung have you fooled until the retrieval of the package (which you should've picked up sooner, Amra!)?
Amra always exudes this calm, collected persona, but she does have a weakness, even if she doesn't want to believe it: her strong relationships. Do you feel she gets...sloppy when those she cares about find themselves in harm's way?
Any other thoughts on the general plot?
