Sorry I know this post is late but I’ve been having an issue with GR lately.
I’m not much of a holiday reader. Never read a Halloween book. Once in a while I read a Christmas book and will probably read a Christmas cozy this year since I’ve recently fallen in love with cozies.

Yes, I do enjoy reading holiday books! I do set aside late November through January to dedicate to holiday reading. I don't always read Halloween, Thanksgiving, Easter books but it's fun to have cozies to read during those holidays. This year I am planning to read more Halloween books than usual. That's because my reading volume has increased this year due to the pandemic and I have the time. My Halloween reading plans for October and early November:
The Halloween Hoax by Carolyn Keene
Plus these by Kathi Daley:
Halloween Moon on audio
Ghostly Graveyard
Murder at the Witching Hour

You know I LOVE Nancy Drew. That's a great choice.

Didn't even know FB has a Nancy Drew group. Going there now.
Ok I'm back. Is it the Nancy Drew Book Club or Nancy Drew Fan Club? There's a lot of choices for Nancy Drew on FB.

Thank you.
I love to read books during the time of year or the holiday they are set around. Unfortunately (for me) I'm a very literal/linear thinker and reading a series in order (or watching a tv series in order) is almost a compulsion for me. So reading a book in a series out of order for a holiday almost never happens.
Having said that I know that the books in many series are perfectly fine as stand-alone books, but for me getting to know the characters and watching their stories unfold is part of the reason I like series. Just my own quirk.

I can't read books out of order. I try not to know that books are part of a series so don't tell me :)
