1. I'm interested in becoming a mod for this group because I love meeting other book lovers and interacting with them. I'd love to help make improvements and grow this group!

2. Adding some more games, and creating some new discussions about new/coming soon books, so we can expand our reading range and find out about new books. I could also think up a few more challenge and readathon ideas.

3. I'm very active on Goodreads.

4. I'd like to discuss BOTMs or anything else you'd like me to do!

I know you guys aren't in need of another mod at the moment, but if you are in need of another I'd like to apply :) I'm not expecting to get a position though since I just was invited recently and didn't see this until now haha.

1. I love interacting with other readers and chatting, plus I'm very active on GR.
2. Fun challenges, book suggestions, polls, conversation topics for BOTM's
3. Very active! I try to check it at least twice everyday, but it ranges.
4. I'd like to specialize in games and/or polls, but since this is a really late app. then I'm open to whatever is needed.

6. yes I have been a mod before, but only for a very small group. but since I'm active and am active in multiple large groups I have a pretty good idea on how to act as a mod!

Same as Laura, I know you're not in need of one right now, but if it opens again, here's mine:

1. It's just an awesome group in general, and everyone's really friendly. :)
2. I'm good with recs, polls. I also read a lot of fanfiction, so maybe a topic about that.
3. How active are you on Goodreads?
Very active, pretty much all day every day. A little less active on weekends, though.
4. Discussion topics, or games, probably.
5. I'm 16. :)
6. Other than in the Chaotic readers group, which I created, no.

1. My goal for the new year is to write a review on every book I read, and try to get into the top 100 reviewers for the US. If you know me, you know I rant a lot, so this group is perfect! Also, I love the community and the whole idea of the group, it's awesome.
2. I have a lot of ideas for new challenges and games, as I've been a moderator of a lot of groups before. I also have an idea - maybe, for those who love to write, we can have like a "Community Writing" folder where people can have topics for their creative writing, fanfiction, and other things along the lines of writing!
3. I'm active a lot. Like, a lottttttt. Usually more on the weekends, but I'm active every day!
4. I'd honestly be fine with whatever, possibly discussion topics or if we end up doing the writing thing, than that of course.
5. You know how old I am :) Same as what Nikki said!
6. Yes. Oh yes. I'm a mod of a lot of different groups, over 20. I've created several as well, so I have a lot of experience.

Not sure if you're accepting new mods, but whenever you do feel the need, please consider me.

1. I've been an active participant in this group for some time, so I know the inner workings of how the people here work (I'm not suggesting y'all are robots, I'm just SUSPICIOUS)

Anyway, I've also been reviewing/ranting for a long time, so I'd love to inspire people who don't to start writing reviews! Or rants! Rants are amazing!

2. Discussion questions are the big ones for me. I can come up with great, thought-provoking discussion topics--about the BOTM, about life, about our hobbies. Another thing I'd like to bring to this group is underhyped books and books that might not necessarily be on our member's radars.

Other than that, I also have some miscellaneous ideas on how to improve community engagement.

3. If I'm on the computer, which is whenever I have a class or am doing homework, I'm on GR. This sums up to about 8-9 hours per day.

4. Discussions. Games. Anywhere I can improve. And if you want, I can also keep track of the fine data and do some of that good ol' number-crunching data analysis :)

5. Yes.

6. Yes, I'm a mod in A's royal literature group and I was a mod in the political debate group before it dissolved. I'm also a moderator in several groups on discord, which I find to be similar to Goodreads groups.

Why am I interested in becoming a mod?

Well I really love meeting fellow book readers and lovers and I know I’m new to this group but I’m really loving being part of this community. I love discussing books but I haven’t read a lot of the ones you guys talk about. (They’re on my tbr)

What ideas will I bring to the group?

Well I’d like to see an option to share our art and fanfics to the group. I would love to make a Snapchat gc or maybe an Instagram acc for this group. Where ppl could comment ideas and post.

How active am I on Goodreads?

I'm active as often as I’m able to be on for.

What would I like to specialise in?

I love discussions and I’d love to show how creative ppl can be, maybe some type of challenges eg. Write a short story about a certain topic. Max 1500 words.

Am I over 12 years old?

Yes, I’m turning 14 in June :)

Have I been a mod previously?

Unfortunately not, and I do believe there will be a learning curve but I’m up for the challenge. I’d love to spread creativity, happiness and awareness to this group.

This is my new mod application
I just needed to change some things and I just had some new stuff to add :)

1. Why are you interested in becoming a mod for our group?

I am wanting to have more leadership experience and goodreads is a place that offers that to me with the group moderators feature. I love this group because there are so many basic YA book clubs out there but this one is special because of its focus on reviews and books.

2. What new ideas will you bring to the group?

-Review nooks ~ kind of like book nooks but instead it is for review writing so basically a review writing nook. It would basically be more centered around writing book reviews and not talking about books. People could talk about their own personal reviews, how they wrote them and ask for advice before they publish a review.

-Review contests ~ people could submit there book reviews( maybe of the BOTM) and then the mods could pick there favorite or make a poll to see who's review gets the most votes. The winner would be featured in a group broadcast message along with some of the things the mods liked about it. I also thought of some sort of a prize for the winner but don't really know what it would be.

- Yearly reviewer award ~ just like review contests mods could choose or people could vote. People who want to win the award will submit 5 - 10 reviews they have written throughout the year and who ever the mods pick or whoever gets the most votes will win the R+R reviewer of the year award. It would be announced in a group broadcast message and then the winner could just have the bragging rights like they could put in there bio " 2021 R + R reviewer of the year" and just like the Review contests some sort of a prize for the winner but don't really know what it would be.

- R + R book of the year ~ a poll set up with all the BOTM's from the past year and then which ever one got the most votes would be the R + R book of the year. Possibly we could set up multiple categories for winners kind of like the goodreads choice awards.

3. How active are you on Goodreads?
Pretty active maybe like 1 - 3 hrs a day but honestly i don't time myself so it could be longer.

4. What would you like to specialize in (e.g. polls, games, discussions)?
Really anything you guys need me for, I could probably do a bit of everything and just help out. If i had to choose maybe discussions or polls.

I used to mod a group that got deleted called Starlight on Our Shelves and I currently mod The Introvert Readers

I genuinely want to be a mod because i just love interacting with other readers and people :) And the Idea of a Rant and Review is just so creative and out of the box, that I would just love to see the group thrive and grow!!

WOAH. That is a very hard question, the answer is EVERY DAY I GET im on Goodreads. 24-7
