OMG it looks like I'm the first one to post this year! Usually I don't open my presents before Christmas but I was actually expecting an other book haha! So: thank you to the Secret Santa who offered me "Singin' & Swingin' & Gettin' Merry Like Christmas" from Maya Angelou! I'm really happy about it! :D

Mine came today too! A gorgeous paperback of The Huntress by Kate Quinn! Thank you Santa!! My Kate collection is almost complete :D :D :D

thank you for The Time Traveller's Guide to Elizabethan England!

It arrived today already. But as my brain makes hard and fast pointless rules about how things need to be done every so often, I won't be "allowed" to open it till Christmas x-D

Thank you Secret Santa for Tortall and Other Lands: A Collection of Tales which I've been meaning to read for forever and the beautiful copy of Spindle's End which is my favourite book in the whole wide world and replaces one I lost in a house move.

Sunshine, the other two came from me! I chose The Color Purple because I read it a couple of years ago and really liked it, and I watched the old version of The Witches this Halloween so I gravitated towards that book too :)

book Depository is frustrating me, I can't see when the books I sent will be delivered. ugh

Hi! I just wanted to let you know I picked that book because I’m a lefty and a book about left handed booksellers sounded amazing.

My book arrived today! All-American Murder: The Rise and Fall of Aaron Hernandez, the Superstar Whose Life Ended on Murderers' Row is something I’ve been dying to read, as a fan of both true crime and the New England Patriots. I also wrote a paper last year about the correlation between head injury and violent behavior and Aaron Hernandez was included in it. Thank you to my wonderful Secret Santa! 🧡

Not everyone posts they receive their items. It’s actually very common they don’t.

I can actually confirm your secret Santa person got at least one of their books, Martha :) you gave her a book I was raving to her about so she messaged me. Please do reach out to her :)

But it’s possible if your person didn’t post they either haven’t gotten it (like me) or didn’t see this post. If they still don’t message, feel free to reveal yourself on Christmas Eve/Day :)
