Why does Augutus have to get sick? Hazel is the sick one..but their relationship was so perfect and then John Green had to make Augutus sick. Why did Augustus have to get sick?

Probably because, everything must come to an end. although they didint live their lives to the fullest with each other they enjoyed the short time they had together. I think it was kinda odd that Agustus ended up Dieing before Hazel. Because Hazel didint want to be with Gus in the first place because she didint want to leave him heart broken after she died. But it was Vice versa.
