Play Book Tag discussion

The year is 1860. Actor Robby Riverton witnesses a murder and goes into hiding, heading out west with a gang on his heels and the US marshalls wanting him as a witness to the murder. He ends up in the small town of Flat Bottom, disguised as a mail order bride for Clovis Crabtree. But it is his brother, Sheriff Trace Crabtree, who catches Robby's eye.

This was a fun romp! What made the story for me was Robby's alter ego Rowena and "her" relationship with Trace's family. It wasn't a laugh-out-loud slapstick comedy, but a rollicking amusement ride and adventure with heart that made for a great light read. The romance with Trace was also handled just right. I never thought a western historical gay romance would tickle my fancy, but this one works.
