I know I'm not a mod, but cool events always make me want to do something in a group. Especially ones with secrets in them (exp. Camp Elderberry's Prophecy)
Like for example, in the Hierarchies it talks about how certain groups will be saved, so what if there was a huge outbreak with (insert bad happening) that causes people to fight for their lives, lose their friends, and get saved. But what happens and where they are depends on friendship and hierarchy.
I tried to have them rescued but no one wanted to go. :(

Lets think then, then getting rescued is endgame right? Having done that so early on its obvious they would refuse. That's why I'm saying there should be some huge catastrophic event that happens that lasts a couple days, or possibly weeks, where they have to fight for their lives and be realistic with their characters. That's where the character flaws come in, look at the characters and find an overall flaw, and pursue that. It has to effect the overall population, but it can't be overpowered.

What about a extremely giant power plant exploding, resulting in the exposure of radiation making the zombies mutate and causing disease to spread faster. Also, the fog caused by it is causing people to become weaker and sick. Or, there could be someone/something people have to save to stop the apocalypse, otherwise everyone dies in say, 7 days. Maybe you could incorporate magic or a psychic child who can save the world, but is easily manipulated and weak. There are tons of things. Smart zombies could make a bigger problem.

Right. I think that is because if the characters are rescued, its endgame. Nothing much else to do unless something else happens, but that would be too soon. So we need to create some sort of conflict that we can create an event around (along with a bit of a secret for what'll happen) and an idea, mostly.
The group is dead lol. You can like, have The Black Hills expand and come into conflict with the army.

DUDE. Not helpful LMAO. Who will create the group at least, so you can invite just who the moderators of the group first and make a literal blank group named "Blank" and work off of that.
