What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Two years ago in high school, I read a somewhat short book about a high school boy who has a dream/ weird trance like day at school. I can't remember much about the plot, all I remember is that the main character is kind of the "weird" kid at school and during the day he gets into a few fist fights. After one of the fights he goes into the bathroom to get cleaned up and an acquaintance he has (I think his name is Daniel) helps to clean him up in the bathroom at school and ends up kissing him and the main character beats Daniel up for it. I think this book may have been published in the 90's, and the cover may have been red and with kind of a strange title and a silhouette of a rabbit. There's a strong possibility I dreamt this up but I need to know for sure.

Hi! I looked into Dog Eat Dog, and sadly I don't think that's the book I'm thinking of.

If there was a gay character and this was from the '90s, I should know what it is!

Rainbowheart, thank you for the list! I looked through it, but I didn't find the book there. The book I'm thinking of didn't really have an LGBT theme, the kiss was more like they were having a "moment" and then the main character got mad that his friend kissed him.

The book wasn't part of a serious(that I can remember), and it had kind of a serious/ mysterious tone. I don't remember the location specifically but that it took place at school over the course of a day.
