Christian Goodreaders discussion

Obviously, the various books written by New Atheist authors such as Richard Dawkins, the late Christopher Hitchens, and Sam Harris, attacking theism and theists generally (and usually Christians in particular) are not Christian-friendly literature. This is, however, a body of writing that's very important for the Christian community to be aware of and understand, because it significantly impacts the culture (especially "elite" and academic/media culture) that Christians in the West live with and need to witness to. This thread can serve as a place where we can discuss our interaction with these books, and to post resources for reflecting on and responding to them, starting with reviews for one of the most widely read, Harris' Letter to a Christian Nation. Below are links to online Christian reviews of the latter book, and citations of print reviews. All of these are reviews I've personally read, and can vouch for as serious and cogent. (I'll post a link to my own review when it's completed.)
