For TRAGEDY, I read Dear Emmie Blue. The MC's father abandoned her when she was younger, her mother ignored her when she was a teen, and she was sexually assaulted. Much heavier than expected but good.

Read Parker for Tragedy as well. One of the main characters escapes an abusive relationship and falls for someone who shows him what love really is (kindness, trust, and so on).
