2. Mother of Pearl by Melinda Haynes. Had this one for years, now I know why it took me so long to pick it up. Rather slow but has an interesting writing style.

How was The Orphan Train? It's been on my TBR for so loooooong. lol

The Orphan Train is excellent. I highly recommend it. Good history about a difficult subject.

I really miss a good Maeve Binchy book, she was such a sweet story writer.
