Lucy was cleaning the room for the sixth time that day. She was scared to leave the room. Scared someone would take her back to the facility, even though she knew it was safe here.
She smiled against his lips. She didn’t mind living here with him, she just wished her say wasn’t all cleaning. But she was also too scared to leave the room. Lucy was used to her life revolving inside one room, though.
Lucy bit her lip. She didn’t want to leave, but she nodded, “o-okay.” She was sure he’d keep her safe.
Lucy pulled away from him so she could slip her feet into a pare of shoes. She wasn’t sure how far they were going to walk, but she doubted going shoeless wouldn’t be smart, “I think I’m ready.”
Lucy’s grip on her hand tightened when they left the room. She became fence as they headed away from it.
Lucy’s eyes widened and she gasped, “what is this place?” She looked at all the plants and flowers.
Lucy grinned, “I could stay here forever.” She looked up at him, then smirked, “you know, it’s a fantasy of mine to get laid in a garden. Something about flowers are so romantic.”
Her face light up, “sounds like a plan!” She bounced with excitement. She turned and wondered into the garden to smell the flowers.
The girl looked up at him. “Umm. Hi mister.” She hesitated, “can I use your toilet?” She blushed, “my room is really far and I really gotta go.”
The girl followed and quickly ducked into the washroom.
After a couple minutes, she came back out. “Thanks mister.”

“Cool! Boyfriend or girlfriend? Are you married? Or is it a sibling?” She started shopping off questions.
The girl rushed over to his bed and started jumping on it, “cool! My dad used to have a girlfriend. But then she killed him and tried to kill me too.” She spun around as she jumped.
“Nope! I crash with whoever lets me into their room.” She says on the bed and smiling innocently.
She gasped, as if offended, “you don’t have fun!? What kind of person doesn’t do anything for fun?”
She kept singing and jumping.
Lucy walked in and paused. “Umm...” who was this little girl? She hadn’t been gone long; she’d gone to see the doctor to see if she was pregnant or not.

Lucy sighed with relief and hugged him back. She perked over at the child jumping on their bed, “so... who’s this?”
“Hmm.” Lucy looked at the girl, “alright young lady, it’s time for you to go home. It’s our bedtime.”
The girl whimpered and got off the bed, “oh... okay...” she looked down and left, scared of Lucy’s adult voice.
Lucy sighed with relief and walked James to the bed.

She snuggled up to him, “I’m not pregnant,” she whispered, “and the doctor gave me birth control.”
A light knock came from the door. It was the little girl. She’d been woken up by the smell of food.
The girl ate all the food and looked up at him, “thank you.” She was still hungry, but didn’t want to trouble him more.
The girl frowned, “what?” Was he going to force her to clean? Or do chores he didn’t want to do?
