W Third Girl bored me,as did Death in the Clouds.
Appointment with Death was rather underwhelming, too.

Klowey Third Girl, Nemesis, Death in the Clouds, and The Big Four.

Michelle Murder in Mesopotamia has been the only one so far I didn't enjoy. The book itself was good. I just didn't like the end :(

W In her autobiography,Christie writes that she was least satisfied with The Mystery of the Blue Train.
I'm yet to read that one.

W As for the Big Four,I've read lots of reviews about how bad it is.Will read it shortly, let's see.

W Christie's last book Postern of Fate also has plenty of negative reviews. But I rather liked it,not bad for a woman writing in her 80s.

I tend to think that was largely based on what was going on her life at the time (crumbling of her marriage with Archie, her disappearance.) Somewhat inexplicably I rated this book as 5 stars, although now I cannot remember why.

Totally agree

Aravena | 15 comments Elephants Can Remember and By the Pricking of My Thumbs so far have been the only Christie titles that I 1-starred in Goodreads. Probably need a reread at some point tho, I can barely remember what happened in them (other than how I felt that the writing was so tedious and overwrought).

Helle (helleb) | 21 comments Death Comes as the End, Passenger to Frankfurt and Postern of Fate are my least favorites.

Nisha Joshi (swamped, will review whenever possible) (thereadermommy) | 3 comments Postern of Fate. I couldn't understand one bit of the book.

Thanks for mentioning this one,Erin.I'd like to read it.Didn't know there was a volume of Tommy and Tuppence short stories and I've become rather fond of them.
