Vanessa (thehispanicbookworm) | 338 comments Until BOTM posts them please refrain from adding books you think will be on this list. If you want to talk about possible leaks please do so in the general discussion but do not create discussions for books until they are officially posted on the BOTM website.

Madeline | 80 comments I picked Lost Apothecary though Opal & Nev sounds interesting, I wonder if it will be anything like Daisy Jones and the Six

message 8: by Hannah (new)

Hannah Meyer | 1 comments Did anyone else have a serious dilemma in choosing this month? I added every single one to my TBR but ended up with The Lost Apothecary and Opal & Nev. Someone please report back on Too Good To Be True and In a Book Club Far Away because I might have to find those at my local bookstore very soon. 😅

message 12: by Elsa (new)

Elsa Carrion (ecarrion) | 716 comments Trisha do you have two accounts or since one is the club pick you automatically get that one?

message 13: by Matthew (new)

Matthew | 23 comments I picked The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner and added Caste The Origins of Our Discontents by Isabel Wilkerson as an add-on. Will keep Too Good to Be True by Carola Lovering in mind for the summer--looks like a fun, Gone Girl style of thriller.

I also got the The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner from the library as an ebook, I'm waiting on the audio so I can read along.

I really enjoyed the Lost Apothecary. Am I able to add discussions for each of the March books or can only you and Vanessa?

message 25: by Vanessa (new)

Vanessa (thehispanicbookworm) | 338 comments Madeline, you should all be able too. I'll double check the settings when I got home because the app doesn't let me pull them up. of it doesn't let you post a discussion send me a message.

message 26: by Elsa (new)

Elsa Carrion (ecarrion) | 716 comments I got three up. I have to wait till tomorrow to create the rest or I'll try later today. I didn't know we were limited on number of folders we can create a one time.

I ordered my just after midnight at 1 am on March 1. Web site said I should receive my box on the 3rd. I didn't get them till the 9th. I live in Oklahoma. So 8 days no counting the day I placed the order.
I'm setting an alarm so I can continue to place my order at 1 am so I get them earlier in the month and read them in the same month.

It really does seem late--I ordered it on March 1 and then got a notice immediately stating "Your box is slightly delayed due to the unusually high demand for your books. Because of that, your reads will ship between March 8 and March 10." With a follow-up on March 9th telling me to expect it between 3/18-20.

So who knows. Based on everyone else's experience this seems to be unusual. I live in Seattle but don't think distance had anything to do with the initial delays. Ah well, it'll eventually show up and I probably wasn't going to start it right away.

I usually look a day or two before the end of the month. They often have it up by the 30th and then I usually get the books within a week. I'm over in Colorado so this helps to get mine earlier than later.

I'm in CA and I got the same message. I believe I selected on March 3 and it said the demand was high, so mine are expected between the 18th and 20th! I tend to read them the following month since they come so late and I usually add on a book or two.

Tiger (annoyingtiger888) | 2 comments The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner is the one I chose c: The cover looks awesome, but I hope it's not too much of a feminist book.

message 32: by Kelley (new)

Kelley R. | 1 comments I ordered a few books this month. I’m currently reading in a book club far away.
