Miguel Covas | 19 comments Funny thing about Francisco Abelenda: his real name was Francisco Porrúa and he was the founder of Minotauro publishing company. An "orchestra man" he translated, edited and published. He introduced "classic" sci-fi in Argentina (and in Spain, from which his parents emigrated when he was about 2). In a time in which publishing was a tightly controlled industry in Franco's Spain, Porrúa introduced sci-fi writers such as Bradbury, Wyndham, Matheson, Ballard and a long etcetera... He went as far as to convince Jorge Luis Borges to write a prologue for Martian Chronicles
