Disney Academy of something or other discussion

Alya stood by the case of treats; she knew she should be eating healthy, but it had been another long week full of too much stress and math, and she was craving sugar.

"Alya!" Arlo waved at her as he was sitting at a table by the window. He was munching away at a muffin, and noticed her a little after she walked in.

Alya turned. "Oh, my gosh, Arlo!" Perking up at the sight of her close friend, she walked over and grabbed the water she'd ordered, nice and cold, and sat down across from him. Usually, she was aware of her surroundings more than other people, but she was so exhausted lately. "How are you?"

"Tired," He said rubbing his eyes, "Came here to get a coffee actually." He laughed, "Ended up with a muffin too." Ash takes a sip of his coffee and looks at Alya, "How about you?"

"I feel that," she stated, and smiled at his laugh. "Me, too. Really tired and stressed, but I came here for sugar. But I guess tired and stressed is life." She looked at the muffin Arlo was eating. "Is at least a good muffin?"

"Anything that is chocolate can't go wrong," Arlo comments, biting into it again, "You should totally get one" Arlo takes a sip of coffee to wash it down, "Their coffee is good to."

She inclined her head. "You're not wrong, chocolate is good." She eyed his muffin, then nodded. "Okay, you've got me." Standing up, Alya proceeded to make her way to the counter. She ordered a chocolate chip muffin and a mocha, and then sat back down again with her food. "So. You never did tell me--what's up with you and Aiden? Anything good?"

Arlo hid his face into his hands, "Aiden is dating someone." Arlo started to smile into his hands knowing that Alya is going to take it that Aiden rejected Arlo, the way he hid his face.

Alya stilled. "He is? Who? Geez, Arlo, I'm sorry...is there anything I can do for you?"

"You know her, Rory," Arlo said still in his hands, then lifts his head up smiling after a few seconds, "And me," Arlo giggled and blushed.

"Oh, Ro--wait!! You, too? He's okay with that?" She smiled, seeing Arlo so happy, knowing he'd had such a crush on Aiden. "Oh, wow, Arlo!" She grasped his hands and squeezed. "I'm happy you're with someone you like! And Rory doesn't mind?"

"I don't think so," Arlo considered it for a moment, "I like her too." Arlo smiled and nodded his head, "I know she is dating Aiden and so am I, but she would never date me, I don't think." Arlo sipped his coffee again and sighed, "It's so confusing, feelings, that is"

Alya tapped her fingers on the table. "So you like her, too? Like...you have a crush on her? And why do you think she wouldn't date you?" She laughed a little and ate some of her muffin--it was really good; she'd made the right choice, thanks to Arlo. "Feelings can be, yeah. Although I don't know what romantic feelings are like, I can imagine that can get a bit confusing, too."

"GOD!" Arlo yelled out, "I have a huge crush on her, she is so nice, and I love the way she treats people, maybe im Pan" Arlo ranted starting to fidget with his hands. "She would never date me, she would never date a loser like me," Arlo frowned and sipped his coffee, fidgeting more.

"Arlo!" Alya gasped. "You're not a loser!" She walked over and sat next to him, placing an arm around her shoulders. "Why do you say that? You're one of the nicest people I know, and you're so fun to be around. You're not a loser." She was sad at his admonition. "Trust me. You're absolutely amazing."

"Thank you, Alya," Arlo smiled at her. He fidgets with his jacket strings, and all of a sudden gives her a huge hug, "Im glad im your friend." Arlo misses having friends, now that he has one, he feels so happy to be with her.

"You're very welcome. I mean it, Arlo." She hugged him back. "I'm happy that you're my friend, too, and that I'm yours. You're such a wonderful person and you add light to anyone's day. You should work on seeing how much worth you have."

"I'll try," Arlo smiled at her hoping it makes her feel better, "How about we play 20 questions, or, Truth or Dare?" Arlo asked her smiling

"Okay...but I mean it, you're great." She grinned. "I like that idea...you first?"

"Truth or Dare?"

"Truth."

"What is your favorite food?"

Alya thought for a moment. "Chocolate or pizza...can't decide. Truth or dare?"

"Dare!" Arlo shouted out smiling.

Alya grinned. "Okay. I dare you to flirt with the cashier. For one minute. No. No,no, wait--sing. I dare you to sing a song out loud, right here."

Arlo stands up looks at Alya turns on a karaoke version of Let it Go, and starts to belt it out, stopping and said quietly, "The cold never bothered me anyways."

Alya laughed. "Yes! Okay, wow, you're good." She giggled again and had to take a drink of water to stop laughing at the looks of the customers glaring at them. Oh, well, that was Truth and Dare.

Arlo laughed" Okay, Okay Truth or Dare?"

((Sorry had to do laundry))

Alya took a deep breath and brushed her red hair over her shoulders. An adventurous gleam shone in her eyes as she cracked her knuckles. "Dare!"

"I dare you too," Arlo thought, "Ask the cashier for his number." Arlo giggled and looked at her devilishly.

Alya stared. "Arlo!" She went up the cashier. "Hey," she greeted him, and then smiled. "I was wondering...may I get your number?" She widened her smile. "You know, being a student I need a constant stream of chocolate muffins."
He stared at her, then shrugged. "Yeah, sure," he stated, and scribbled it down on a paper and handed it to her, then winked. "Call whenever."
"Thanks." She winked back and walked back to Arlo. "There."

Atlalune walked in with Vanessa

The next morning, Ash and Alya had agreed to meet for breakfast at the bakery before their classes.
After yesterday's overindulgence on sweets at the movie she could hardly remember the plot of, she had been up since around 5:30--a sunrise run, a bit of stretching, and then boxing and training alongside one of her longtime friends from home.
Now, she was perky and awake, and walked up to meet Ash at the bakery.
"You pulled a gun on this guy?" Her friend asked, who was walking with her out of curiosity when Alya had explained what had happened.
"Yes," Alya stated defensively. "Look, I didn't know his intentions and he was giving me endearments." She raised a red eyebrow. "But really, he's nice."
"I'm going to meet him."
"Fine, but then you leave."
"I know. I'm just saying, if he was interesting enough for you to pull your freaking pistol--"
"Cal."
The brunette grinned at her, and Alya rolled her eyes as she stopped outside the door, waiting for Ash.

Ash was exhausted when he rolled out of bed, the day before had really taken it out of him. He had taken a shower, shaved and headed to the bakery. He had woken up twenty minutes before he needed to meet Alya, which felt lazy as heck but he wanted to sleep as long as possible. Giving his shadows tone to regenerate, if that was even how they worked. Honestly he wish he knew more about them. He jogged a little when he closer to the bakery, slowing down when he saw Alya with someone else. Maybe she’d brought someone along?

“Hey,” he said to Alya before heading inside with her and her friend. The bakery smelled amazing with the breads, pastries , and cookies baking. He couldn’t wait to grab something.

"Hey, Ash. Oh, this place always smells so great. By the way--sorry for my friend here, she's an idiot. She wanted to meet you when I told her I was meeting someone for breakfast. We've known each other for years and were talking a few hours ago."

The girl next to Alya, who stood over a head taller than her and had dark brown hair pulled into a ponytail, held out a hand. "Caledonia Hayden, nice to meet you. I wanted to see what kind of person you were if Romanoff here pulled a freaking gun on you. She's also an idiot. Anyway, I'll leave, I was just intrigued."

“I’m uh... yeah nice to meet you,@ he told the other girl. “I’m a bit of an hellion but your friend keeps me in check ,” he winked before going to the counter to order. He ordered two chocolate croissants, an apple fritter, and a passion fruit drink, he handed over the money and moved aside for Alya. “Your friend is welcome to stay and eat with us. I don’t care.”

Caledonia raised a dark eyebrow at him and nodded once. "Well, that's good to hear."

Alya shrugged. "I like our friendship, actually," she stated, and then ordered a breakfast burrito, but also a chocolate chip muffin and a fruit cup and glass of water. After paying, she turned to Cal. "So. You staying?"

The brunette shrugged. "I'll order something and get out of your hair. I was just very curious. You can't pull guns on people unprovoked, Alya."

"I can and I did. Plus, I was provoked." She smirked. "Anyway, on that note, see you later?"

"See you."

Alya nodded and turned to Ash. "I didn't want her tagging along, she's leaving. She was just very curious because of how we met. Anyway, have you got your schedule yet?" She asked as they waited for their food.

Violetta bounded past with Atlalune and Vanessa following.

Cal seemed interesting, but Ash didn’t comment as the two girls exchanged pleasantries. His food arrived and he picked up the paper bag. He was going to wait with Alya until she had her food too, then they could find a table or booth to sit at.

“She seems nice,” He commented, “Yeah I did actually. I have study hall this afternoon, is that when you have yours? Also did you find out about the two clubs we were interested in?”

Violetta dropped her wallet on the floor close to Cal while talking to the other two girls.

"What did you order?" Alya asked as she waited for her food. She then sighed. "Cal? Yeah, she's nice when she wants to be. Introvert and ridiculously observant," she said with a laugh. "We practically grew up together. Hey, yeah! That is when I have mine, awesome. But no, I didn't find out about the clubs...not fully anyway. They have them, I saw that, but I don't know when they meet."

Cal picked it up, handed it back to her, and then waved once more at Alya and Ash. That was his name, right? Then she turned and left after getting her food.

Violetta looked at her and grabbed her food then sat down. Vanessa and Atlalune sat down as well and started talking

"I ordered enough food to share," He laughed, Ash liked to eat, and he wasn't afraid to eat in front of people. Her friend sounded fun, he was glad she felt comfortable enough to let him meet her. "Sounds like a cool friend," He took a long drag of his drink. "Yes! We have the same study hall, we can goof off in the library, or actually study if we need to. I vote for goof off though. Do you think there will be a little old lady that will yell at us every time we get loud?"

Violetta threw a note at Ash and started eating her food

"Oh, wow," Alya stated, looking around at his food. "Hey, leftovers, right?" She nodded. "Yeah, Cal's loyal to her close friends. Neither of us have a ton of friends, but she's even worse about it than me. Still, she's loyal to those she cares about, which I get. And that sounds good to me!" Alya laughed and broke off some of her muffin. "There's definitely an older lady, always glaring over at everyone if they get too loud. We'll probably get yelled at, just like in the theatre."

Vanessa stood up and walked out the door. Atlalune sighed

“Well I had no friends before coming here, so I count myself lucky to have you. Do you think she’ll hang with us sometimes?” He ate his apple fritter, then began digging into a croissant, “I’m sure we will get yelled at several times in the library. Oh well, it’ll be fun at least. We can bring her an apple to keep her quiet maybe.” He laughed.
