as the teleported in aiden looked around in awe "thank you. this doesn't look like it's in the castle though." he was confused.
"That's because it's not, Ai." She said as she started looking around.
"oh, i thought you mean it was in the castle. duh the castle has a library, why would it need a bookstore." he laughed at himself, as he looked across the shelves.
She shook her head with a smile and went over to the nonfiction section. She started looking at all of the different books.
She smiled as she looked at all of the books on animals. She loved to learn about different animals. She picked up a book about all types of animals and she went to go find aiden to see if he found something he liked as well.
aiden came back with a poetry book called 'adultolescence' by gabbie hanna. "this book is amazing" he was ecstatic that he found it.
Rory looked at the book and then at him. She smiled at how happy he was. "I'll glad that you were able to find it. You ready to get going?"
She nodded, walked over to the counter, paid for both books, and walked back to him getting ready to teleport.
Rory laughed and smiled brightly, "Maybe, I'll probably show him sometime."
She teleported them back to the garden

Lo walked in and looked around in awe. This place was really nice. He was actually happy they came here.
Forest followed Logan into the bookstore and stopped short. He hadn't been in a bookstore in years, and the smell of new books was overwhelming and nostalgic. He'd loved coming in one as a child."This is big," he mumbled, and then looked at Logan. "What's your favorite book genre? I don't think I ever asked that, actually."
Lo blushed and slowly pointed to the horror section. He cleared his throat, "Uh, I really enjoy the horror books." He really hoped Forest didn't think he was a complete weirdo now.
Forest raised dark eyebrows; somehow he hadn't expected that. "Huh," he stated. "Out of curiosity, why? Those made me bawl as a child--horror movies, anyway. I vowed I'd never read the books after that," he stated with a small chuckle. "Not a bad thing you like them, I'm just genuinely curious."
"Uh, well, I can't really explain it. I just find them interesting. They keep my mind busy, and entertained." He said so quietly most people wouldn't hear him.
"Oh, okay. I mean, that's good, right?" He frowned, and then asked something he hadn't done before he met Logan. "You okay?"
Arlo steps into the store quietly and walks down the aisle before stumbling upon Logan and Forest, "Can I get by" Arlo frowns knowing he sounded rude, "Sorry, I just need a book that's behind you."
Forest turned, seeing someone he'd never seen before. He stepped aside, not as agitated as he would have been a few days ago.
"Thank you," Arlo said quietly and smiled He reaches for the book that was behind Forest. As he was walking away he trips and falls flat on his face, He stands up quickly wipes himself off and turns back to them "That never happened" Arlo started laughing and say's " I feel like we haven't met, My names Arlo" He stuck his hand out.
Forest took a deep breath. "Forest." He hesitated and then took his hand. "You...okay? Fell on your face."
"Fine," Arlo sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck, "Im very clumsy, happens a lot honestly." Arlo laughed and turned to Logan, "What's your name?" Arlo said smiling
Lo was trying so hard not to laugh. He couldn't be rude. "I'm Logan." He said softly. He smiled a little, not really sure what to say to this new person. He had never really talked to anyone besides Forest, Ash, and Bella.
Forest glanced at Logan and then at Arlo. He looked at Logan again as he waited for Arlo to reply, and then realized he was staring. Cheeks slightly flushed, he looked down. What was he doing?
Lo glanced at Forest and smiled a little. He was calm and happy, so he didn't feel the need to shift when Arlo talked to him. Which was a good thing, because he was tired of not being able to control himself.
Lo excused himself and quickly ran to the horror section, grabbed a book he saw that looked interesting, and then ran back over to them and sat down on the ground.
He looked up at Forest. "Nope, I'm ok right here! But thanks for the offer. I used to sit on the floor all the time at home. It was part of....um, my training." He said quietly, remembering Arlo was there.
Forest bit a lip, and an unexpected wave of sorrow for Logan clenched his heart. He nodded. "Uh, okay. I;'ll be back, I want to grab a book really quickly."Now, it was his turn to make his way to grab a book. He took a history book, as he liked learning about war history, and walked back to Logan and Arlo.
Lo glanced up at Arlo and wondered why he had never seen him around before. He shook his head softly and started reading his book. He didn't need anyone thinking he was weird for staring at people randomly.
Forest began to look through his book, as well. It had been forever since had sat down with something he liked to read. After a few minutes, he glanced over at Logan. "How is it so far?"
Lo looked at Forest with a smile, "This guy just bought a haunted house, and he keeps hearing laughing and finding things all over the place. So, it's good so far. What about yours?"
"Do those ever have happier ending?" He asked with a small smile. "And it's good--informative, for sure."
"Um, most of them don't, I think that's just the way for anything with horror in it. But I think I got one with a better ending than most. And that's good! Learning new things is always fun, it makes you question what you thought you knew." He said with a laugh.
Forest almost grimaced. A lot of what he thought he had known had already been questioned just in these past two days. He took in a breath and nodded. "That is true. And good point about the horror," he admitted with a small chuckle.
There was a loud boom as someone dropped a load of books from a cart. Lo jumped in fright and gripped his book so hard his knuckles turned white. He looked behind him at the person who dropped the books and scowled.
